  1. First bid at $75, failed, offered a a guarantee rate $91. Red-bid at $78 and then $81. Won at $81! Not a bad deal for this hotel. As usual, used your PRICELINE link :) Thank you again for the site!
  2. Found a "Express Deal" for $154 tonight (*extremely* reasonable for a Monday night in the city) - try bidding at $125 - rejected and offered a buyup to $142. Rejected the buyup and rebid at $130 and won. As usual, used your PRICELINE link :)
  3. Saw a similar 4* hotel on PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $56. Started bidding at $45, offered a free re-bid to $55. Declined and went up by $1 increment until I won at $49. As usual, used your PRICELINE link. Thanks!
  4. Found this hotel under "Express Deals" section for $120 (Guest rating 9.0+, pets allowed and business center). Tried my luck to bid for a lower rate instead. First bid at $95 and was offered a free rebid to $112. Declined and rebid again at $100 and won! Extremely happy with this hotel! :) As usual, used your PRICELINE link. Thank you!
  5. Found this through the Express Deal section for $64. First bid at $40, failed and second rebid at $50 and won. AS usual, used your PRICELINE link.
  6. First bid at $45, offered a free buyup to $54. Refused the offer and won the hotel again at $48. As usual, used your PRICELINE link.
  7. First bid at $40 and unsuccessful. Rebid at $45, $52 (offered instant purchase at $64) declined, rebid at $56 and won. Very happy with this bid as it has rave reviews and has free parking, wifi, shuttle to PBI and downtown. As usual, used your PRICELINE link. :)
  8. Bidding another room for a relative (total of 3 rooms, two rooms for 3 nights and one room for 2 nights). Tried first bid at $85 failed and was offered a free buyup to $115. Rebid up to $105 and success!
  9. First bid at $75 - offered a buyup to $96. Re-bid at $80, $83 and finally scored a win at $85. As usual, used your PRICELINE link.
  10. Booked this for a relative. 2 nights was cheaper by $5 compared to the 3 nights. As usual, used your PRICELINE link :)
  11. First tried Resorts Level for $70, and bid up to $82 and was offered free buy-up to $123 (seems steep for the low season). Decided to switch to a 4-star instead. Started at $65, then $70 before offered a buy-up to $102. Re-bid at $76, $82, $86, $89 and finally won the bid at $92. I was expecting this hotel based on Hotwire's amenities since this is the only hotel that has "near beach" according to your list. Really happy with this hotel as I've read rave reviews about this hotel! As usual, used your PRICELINE link! :)
  12. Not exactly name your own price, but I used the "Express Deal" tab. I haven't tried it before and it was offering $103 for Midtown West. Amenities were Free Internet, Pet Friendly, 8.0+ Guess Rating, Restaurant and Business Center. The similar hotel "price" was $239, but after booking it through Priceline, the actual rate for the Mansfield was only $152. Come to think of it, I should have bid instead of the Express Deal. I could have got the same hotel for a slightly lower price or I could have gotten a 4* in Chelsea for about the same price (looks like Hotel Indigo - which gets better reviews than the Mansfield). As usual, used your PRICELINE link.
  13. First bid at $60, then offer a buy up to $84. Declined, rebid at $66, 70, 74, 76 and finally at 78. The rate at Hyatt was only $108. Wasn't too happy with the hotel since there are some really negative reviews about this hotel (from different websites and my main issue with it is the cleanliness of the hotel!). As usual, used your PRICELINE link.
  14. Started my bid at $60 and was offered a confirmed room for $73. Declined, upped my bid to $63 and failed and finally succeeded at $66. HOTWIRE was showing a rate of $77. Definitely cheap for Chicago late summer! As usuak, used your PRICELINE link to bid! :)
  15. Success on first bid. Seems like it matches the $103 on Hotwire. Should have bid a little lower since I am bidding for the day before check-in, but it's still a good rate! :) As usual, used your PCLN link. :)
  16. First try for 5* at $80 unsuccessful. Second rebid at $60 for 4* was successful (Hotwire 4* description (Price = $67) matches that of Hilton Dublin - so I was expecting it to be slightly lower and getting the Hilton as well). Happy with the hotel since it's only 15 mins. walk from the center and pretty accessible. Really good rate for Dublin too! Used you PRICELINE link! Thanks again for your site! :) Edit: The price I bid was $60 - there is a typo in my title. Sorry!
  17. Booked this for my relatives and finally succeeded after several re-bids. Used your PRICELINE link. :) I've been to this hotel and it's OK and the location isn't the best for me (I live in Manhattan Beach) and it's in the opposite direction of where we'd usually go (LA). But I am satisfied for the price I am paying for the hotel!
  18. I had a $10/night cash credit from Priceline. First bid started out at $55 (base, not including $10 bonus) and was offered "instant purchase" if I increase my bid by $25 to $80. Did not take the bait but instead used a couple of free re-bids. Tried at $64 failed and succeeded at $65 for the San Jose Marriott. Also tried up to $80 (not including $10 bonus) on Santa Clara, Redwood City, and Cupertino and Palo Alto but did not succeed.
  19. Initial bid at $38 was rejected, increased to $42 and was accepted. Tried $40 for Disneyland Anaheim but was rejected. As always, used your PRICELINE link. Thank you!
  20. First bid at $20 was unsuccessful. Offered the "instant acceptance" for $23 and took it.
  21. What's a replacement stay? Sorry, I wasn't quite sure what you meant. Thanks!
  22. Thank you thereuare! :) I called Priceline immediately after receiving the winning bid and was told no dice - can't do anything about it (even told them there was a duplicate booking etc.). The apologized for it and sent me a $10/night (max 5 nights) voucher for future bids. PS: What/where can I post the replacement stay? Thanks!
  23. Bid for the wrong zone during a free re-bid. Wanted to bid "Toronto East" instead of "Toronto Airport East". :) My first bid for Toronto Downtown South at $65 failed, wanted to add "Toronto East" instead of "Toronto Airport East" but wrong click and ended up with HGI YYZ for $75 rebid. Looks like this room might be unused now. Way too high for 3* in Toronto Airport. Used your PRICELINE link. :)
  24. Don't know if I should post this here, but it was through Expedia's Unpublished Rate site (which I think mirror's that of Hotwire's). Tried Priceline (using your link) for $83 for 4* and $73 for 3* and was rejected both times. Hotwire was showing $88 for 4* and $77 for 3* (it was showing $86 for 4* and $65 for 3* yesterday - 7 days prior to check-in). T ried Expedia's unpublished rate and found out that they haven't changed their 3* price yet. Booked it and got Comfort Xpress - doesn't sound too promising based on Tripadvisor's review. :) Amenities (same for Hotwire and Expedia): - Complimentary Breakfast - High Speed Internet
  25. First bid at $26 failed but offered an upsell of $7 to get the room right away. Denied the upsell and continued bidding at $1 increment until I got Hyatt Place SLC Airport at $30. It's a steal considering it's almost a brand new hotel (opened earlier this month) and provides complimentary internet and breakfast as well! :) And I used your PRICELINE link too! :)
