  1. It appears that the areas have merged. I just bid on a 4star in that area at $51 for 8/10 and instead of receiving the hyatt(usually available at that price) I was rewarded with the wyndham grand bay. never stayed there, so we shall see. Most of the reviews are less than complimentary.
  2. i travle frequently to this area and coral gables has always been listed as a separate area of miami. i recently noticed that coconut grove has been added to this area. any comments or advice; the hotels in the grove are not as superior as the hyatt which usually appears.
  3. added 4* in coral gables and was rewarded on first bid with hyatt for $51. have not had any luck with this location for last several weeks, so inventory must have opened up.
  4. would prefer to stay in FLL. attempted to again bid on 4* today. began in FLL(beach) at 92. added 3 zones(miramar, pompano, coral springs) at 95, 100 and 110 all rejected. may add downton in 4* category to get the Renaissance
  5. have a backup at the hard rock casino for $199. i figure that i will wait a couple of more days to see if inventory is better. any thoughts on this?
  6. looking to stay at the hyatt 66. have added zones without 4 stars. in miami am trying to stay in coral gables. have been unsuccessful in all attempts for that weekend
  7. have been trying this weekend in miami and Fll without any luck. began bidding for fll beach at 92, 95, 100, 105 all rejected. similar problems with 4* in miami .
  8. began bidding for 12/25-28 at $100 for resort. hoping to get hilton or marriott. added all six zones except sanibel. all bids rejected up to $150. not sure if sanibel has resorts or if priceline is not considering because of hurricane damage. have seen south seas plantation listed previously. do not want to go that far north. would be happy to get hyatt in bonita springs if price were close to 150. any suggestions, other than waiting 72 hours for new bidding.
  9. thanks, i'll let u know what i decide. may look at hyatt in bonita springs.

  14. was rejected at 65. they seem to like 72-73 range
  15. first bid of $72 accepted for 11/16-18. have gotten both the hyatt and omni in this price range the last several weeks. earlier bids under 50 which were accepted until september appear to low. have tried bidding in the 60's on previous occasions without success. this seems to be the current plateau for this area.
  16. first bid $55 second-65 accepted-75. was hoping to get the hyatt where i have previously stayed. looks like they are priced too high. any comments from board about this particular hotel.
