  5. Unfortunately PRICELINE would not accept my request. I think it's due to the high occupancy during this time frame. I ended booking with the Doubletree at 179/ night. That's more than I'd like tp ay for a Doubletree but there are four of us traveling so it came out to be quite cheap.
  6. Thanks so much! PRICELINE won't let me bid again today, as I bid yesterday so I will try this on Saturday. I won a rental a car for the same trip, midsize, for $10 a day. I started the bid using the PRICELINE link on your site.
  7. I will pay more for 4* and prefer to get 4* but f I end up with 3* I want to pay as little as possible.
  8. I want to stay in New Orleans for 2 nights, July 4-6. I need a bidding strategy. Where do I start? I want no less than 3*. No more than $150/night. I will stay in any of these areas: Central Business District Downtown Convention Center French Quarter (my preferred area) Please help!!

  10. My friend had me bid on PRICELINE, 100% sure we would get the Palazzo or the Venetian and we ended up getting the Trump as well. I bid 5*, Vegas Strip North, 120. Priceline countered with with $183 and I accepted b/c I just knew it would be the Palazzo....boy was I wrong. Anyway almost all the reviews are positive so I guess we have to make the best of it. We are staying August 30 - September 2. Not too bad considering it is a holiday weekend.
