3 Star $100 to $150.

We are departing on a cruise from the NYC harbor on Sept 24th, arriving at LGA on Sept 23rd. We are needing hotel accomodations on September 23rd and again when we return from the cruise October 1st. Not looking for luxury, just want a overnight accomodation somewhat convenient for our travels from the airport to the port and then the return trip. Please recommend bid zones and strategies for this stay.

Started bidding at $30 worked up to $55, Fees and services $15.20, total $70.20. Staying at the Crown Plaza, 1/25/2008. Used Savings Barn.

My wife and stayed there Sept 2nd - 5th. I agree with everything previous reviews. This is an excellent location near the subway and accross the street from the mall in the Times Warner building. There are also a lot of good restaruants nearby along 9th street. The rooms were clean and the beds slept well. On the down side, the rooms are really small and the lobby and hallway very dimly lit. If we were returning to NYC, we would be happy to stay with them again.
