I searched for 2 adults and 2 kids

Since we have 4 people, we would need 2 beds. How do I knowthe number of beds I would be receiving?

4.5* Louisville, 5/29/10-5/31/10, $135/night. Amenities listed were Smoke free, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, High-speed internet, Golf nearby and Spa services. Appears to be the 21c hotel. Seems like a good price. Is this a good family hotel in a good location?

The reviews of Galt House on Trip Advisor have consistently not been good. I prefer to stay at a Marriott or Westin or Hyatt. I guess I will have to look elsewhere.

Thanks for your comments. I would prefer a 4* hotel. The Galt House has had some not so great reviews lately. What do you think about it for $66?

Looking at going to Louisville over Memorial Day weekend. I usually stay at Marriott hotels or similar. Just wanted to confirm that I should bid on a 3.5* hotel in downtown for my best chance.

Ended up getting the Omni Suites thru Travelzoo for $149 including parking and a $25 food voucher each day. How can you beat it. Thanks for your help.

I have not booked yet. I can get the Omni for about $145/night and that is a suite. I assume that the Omni usually doesn't show up on Hotwire.

Now the 4.5* star in this area lists amenities as fitness center, restaurant, business center, high speed internet. $99. Is this the Intercontinental? I usually stay in Marriott brand hotels but I was considering the Intercontinental as a change of pace this trip. If it doesn't work out, my alternative is a suite hotel.

I am coming with my wife and two kids. The James is not what I am looking for.

Sorry but I did not book a hotel in Boston because I am novice at this.

Amenities include a Spa which seems to rule the Intercontinental. It is probably the James. Am I looking at this correctly? I really want the IC.

I am new to this forum. What other hotels are listed as 4.5* in Magnificent Mile-Streeterville? I would like to get IC. Why isn't a pool listed under their amenities?

So when I click 4 star and got to the next step, it does not necessarily mean that there are 4* hotels available? When I click on the Waterfront, the map displayed does not mean a lot to me since I am from Michigan. Is this the area where the Marriott, Westin, and Seaport are? It looks like people have been pretty successful getting the Westin.

On Priceline, I selected Boston Waterfront/Convention Center and step 2 showed 4 star and 3 star as my choices available to click on. Does this mean that 4 star hotels are available? Does waterfront mean the Long Wharf area?

There were no exact matches. My goal is to stay in a 4* property on the waterfront near Long Wharf. What is best way to do this if I am not concerned with the specific property?

So if I want a specific hotel, then should I try Hotwire? I would love to stay at the Marriott but not for $400/night.

I am new to Priceline. I have a ressie for 9/8/07-9/10/07 at the Marriott Cambridge for $199/night including breakfast which seems like a very good deal. My goal though is to be on the waterfront as we will be going whale watching Sunday morning. I thought about Priceline. If I put in Boston Waterfront and 4*, what price do you recommend? I would love to stay at the Marriott Long Wharf but I know that probably won't happen. It looks like a lot of people have gotten the Westin which is fine.
