  1. I've had to change the dates of my trip. Now I'm looking at check in 8/7 check out 8/9. Now I'm looking at 3.5 stars charleston airport Amenities: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center pool restaurant business center high speed internet golf nearby tennis nearby Any help Identifying it would be appreciated. I tried a PRICELINE bid (using the site link) for these new dates and was unsuccessful getting some of the rates people have gotten earlier. Probably due to the last minute nature of my trip.
  2. I'm planning a trip to Charleston this weekend (8/6 through 8/8). I'm looking at Hotwire 3.5 star North Charleston Airport area for $72 a night. Amenities listed are: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center Laundry Facilities High Speed Internet Access Any idea what this one might be? I've noticed that the Sheraton Charleston Airport and the Marriott Ashley River are sometimes available a little lower than this, but since my kids are with me, I really need to be guaranteed two beds. Thanks!
  3. I'd like to take a trip soon to Charleston, SC - checking in Jan 18 checking out Jan 20. Hotwire has the following listed. Any help ID'ing would be appreciated. 3-star hotel in North Charleston - Charleston Intl Airport CHS $79 Amenties listed are: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Thanks
  4. Best available rate on hotel website is $179 a night. After reviewing other people's successes, I used the following bid strategy for a 4* Buckhead hotel: 60 no 62 added atlanta west 64 added druid hills 66 added forest park 68 added jonesboro 70 added kennesaw $70 accepted - Intercontinental Buckhead I called the hotel and confirmed, and also gave them my frequent guest number (free online signup) since someone else mentioned they had a problem with getting a two double bed instead of king bed room. The person I talked to said it was all taken care of. Can't wait!
  5. I'm making a one night trip to Atlanta on November 17-18. I'm planning to stay at a 4* hotel in Buckhead. Hotwire has a 4* Buckhead hotel with fitness, pool, restaurant, and business for $79. From the other posting, it looks like this may be the Westin or Inter-Continental. Does this look accurate or does one seem more likely than another? I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be getting the Inter-Continental on priceline for about this price (though I realize that PL and HW don't necessarily translate to the same deals).
  6. Sorry about that, no problem. I stayed on May 26, 2007 and enjoyed my stay tremendously.
  7. I bid $59 for a 2.5 star in the airport zone for Charleston, SC and got the Radisson on Rivers Avenue. It's an older hotel in a run down part of North Charleston, but it was a good value for the money. Stayed on Sept 19. Hope this helps inform others of what's still being offered.
  8. I just found this forum a while back, wish I had found it earlier. This past May, I got the Sheraton Downtown Atlanta for $59. It was listed as 3.5 star with fitness, pool, restaurant, and business. It was a great stay and quite a bargain.
