Comments: 8/7-8/9 $79 per night. Hotel is fair. Nothing glamourous. Very touristy. Rooms are older. Location is good. Right near the upscale shopping district. Upon check-in were told Priceline rooms get basic room, low floor. I would not spend more than the $79 for this property.

Tip..... Do not have great expectations here. Just completed a stay there (8/5-8/7) and this hotel is in poor shape. They are currently renovating the place. The entire front is covered in scaffold and construction starts bright and early. The rooms are in poor shape. Two rooms we had - stained/torn carpeting, chips in furniture, holes/tears in drapes. Staff tried to be accomodating but acknowledged poor room conditions throughout. May have a 3* name (Hyatt), but more like a 2* right now. Renovations to be completed in early 2008.

I tried the same search for 8/5-8/7 (Sun & Mon) nights with $96 and was rejected. Any thoughts?

Seeking 4* Bev. Hills/W. Hollywood 8/5-8/7/07 but less than $100. Any tips? Thanks.
