  1. We chaged our dates to only for 4/18, leaving on the 19th, tried a Resort for $75, and it was rejected. For their sanity, they went ahead and booked an Internet rate on Caribe Hilton's website. Better luck next time.
  2. Tried at $130 at the resort level. No luck. We'll wait 72 hours. We are also going to reserve one directly with the hotel of choice in case nothing pans out. Any other suggestions?
  3. thereuare, This is a new topic to save confusion from the pre-cruise date. Is $65 still appropriate as a starting bid for 4/18-20? At one point, I think I read something that led you to believe the bottom price may be at $70. Thanks, Kevin
  4. thereuare, I'm working with my in-laws to try to save them some money on their hotel costs in San Juan before and after their cruise. I've been to San Juan and stayed at Marriott Resort using an Internet rate and enjoyed the stay. I've since seen people, through Priceline, get much better rates for the other resorts in San Juan. Although I do not suspect it matters which resort, the Caribe Hilton and Marriott San Jaun would be my first choices if I could use a bidding strategy to get either of those. They will arrive 4/10 and board on thier ship 4/11. They then are looking at staying after the cruise for a couple days from 4/18 - 4/20. Can you please advise what bids to use for each case? I suspect the necessary bid for 4/11 will need to be higher then the 4/18-20 dates due to it being Easter weekend. I don't want to have to rebid too many times after the 72 hr wait period since time is getting close, so your advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin
