The Zones should be amended since they now break it down to Airport East and West. This win is in the East. Started bidding at $58, in increments of $3 and kept adding Zones without 3*. I used the PRICELINE link of course.

What was odd is that all 3* in Franklin seem to have disappeared from Priceline. I looked at the list and only a Wingate showed up. I thought ok, it isn't bad. I bid $35, it didn't take, added another area and bid $40 and won this hotel. I started reading the reviews, since it wasn't even in the list of Franklin 2.5* .... it is diiiiiiisgusting! I don't think Priceline should offer anything like this. My wife even called them to try to do something, but no can do. We'll see and rate them accordingly on Trip Advisor.

Just booked it last minute ... took three tries ... started at $47, which seemed to be the least expensive for a 3* in Mississauga, then $50 ... waited a day, even though I changed credit cards and accounts, I think I forgot to close the browser and it "knew" I tried the same "itinerary" ... tried $53 again 24 hrs later and it took. I was hoping for a slightly better hotel, but at #22 out of 55 on Trip Advisor, it's not too bad for a weekend :)

Worked my way up from $106, in increments of $5 ... We were unpleasantly surprised by this hotel as it wasn't listed as a "win" at anytime, going back 2 years. Beware of this as the hotel is #85 of 126 on Trip Advisor, with some good and some so-so reviews. Good thing we only won a night. Bidding on 5* for the beginning of October, I went up as high as $125 with no success, so far.

Tried $38 the first time and it took. It wouldn't let me change the title, I'll use 2 lines next time. It's for 2/14 - 2/15 for two rooms.

It most definitely got truncated. I didn't realize there was a character limits on the title. We won it for $160.

I'm not sure why the dates didn't get included but they were 10/11/10 - 10/14/10 I used the PRICELINE link to get my win. Bidding strategy wise, oh boy, this took at lot of effort and energy. Since Charleston has many areas to choose from without 4*, I started, actually around $50, and worked my way up, in increments of $5, over a couple of days, and choosing the Downtown and Historic District PLUS the areas without 4*, one by one. A couple of times, we changed our mind on the dates, and by switching the dates, it allowed me to keep bidding as if I hadn't before. Then, when I went back to our original dates, here in the posting, I was able to keep bidding up, until won.

I got this great deal by first trying $49 with the 3.5* in Auburn Hills, it didn't take. I added Troy, which didn't have 3.5* available (it would've been my first choice) and $54 and it took. Amenities include: - TV with Premium Channels - Phone with VM - Radio Alarm Clock - Iron and Ironing Board - Hairdryer - Business Services - 24 Hr Front Desk - Full Service Restaurant - Room Service

Booked this hotel from 2/12 - 2/13 and it is the Radisson Kingsley. Wish it was the Embassy Suites, but oh well, it's only for a night and then off to Troy Marriott. Got it for $54/night. Thank you BB!!!
