I may start using PRICELINE more now. Is there a HOTWIRE app also?

Just booked the Courtyard by Marriot in Macon GA for 51.00. 49.00 was rejected. Used one of the other bidding areas with out a 2.5 star hotel to up the bid.

This is the first bad stay I have had. I do not blame HOTWIRE, They have responded and corrected the situation. I am just warning others.

Extended Stay America Chicago - Rolling Meadows See details 2400 Golf Rd. Rolling Meadows, Illinois 60008 (847) 357-1000 Laundry Facilities This hotel should not have been rated a 2*. I have reported it to hotwire. They do not have King rooms only 1 Queen and 2 Twin rooms. The room was not clean and I found out later it should not have been inhabited. I was booked with a Queen room and requested a switch to 2 twins. I do not feel this an excuse to put someone in a dirty room that should not have been inhabited. I would not bid on this one

Maybe this is why people do not post anything on here. You sir, are a JERK. I wanted to use more harsh words but do not want to be removed from this board. I have only posted on here one time, about a hotel I did not book. Most of the others are ones that are in "Hotwire hotel list - Illinois", not sure I should repeat what is already stated. If you must know I book about 10 hotels a year about 20+ nights with Hotwire. I travel over 80 nights a year for Business. I will start to share more when I book something not listed, I am sorry that I needed information ASAP with my daughters issue. I will tell you that with comments like this it is no wonder no one wants to post anything. I MOD a site and if I were to see comments like this I would send you a PM about your tone when someone is in need. Your weak appology is not accepted! I do not know if you have children, if so your compassion for a 12 year old girl is reprehensible. If not you may know how I feel if you ever have children.

I use HOTWIRE for most of my personal travel, I travel with my children which one of them has asthma. If you want a room with 2 beds choose 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Hotwire will not book you a room with 1 bed in it. This can solve a problem with 2 adults traveling that want their own bed. I have never been given a smoking with Hotwire. Their policy is a non smoking room. The one time that I had a problem with a hotel, I called hotwire and they requested that I work it out with the hotel. Well the hotel was a dump (was listed as a 2.5*) and the door was falling off the hinges the furniture was falling apart and the beds had humps in the middle of them. The second room was about the same. I returned the call to Hotwire and they said I could cancle and rebook thru them to a nicer hotel. I ended up booking a 4* and HOTWIRE refunded the difference between the 2.5* and the 4* then gave me $25.00 Hotwire dollars for my inconvience. I have been very pleased with HOTWIRE and the hotel partners they have used (with this one exception) and have booked over 35 rooms from them. I have not had a bad experence with any of the Hotel's accomodating my needs. Like was stated from HotelMgr, Be NICE to the front desk personell. I travel on business over 80 nights a year and even in the hotels that I am a Platnum member if your not nice they will not accomodate you.
