  1. Using the PRICELINE link on this website my bid for $69 was accepted at Gaylord Palms Hotel for one night 9/18/10-9/19/10. I incrementally increased my bid starting at $50 and adding zones that did not have resort. I am happy with this result. Have stayed at this hotel before. They charge parking and a resort fee. I've never seen a bid lower than $69 accepted for this hotel, right or wrong?
  2. 9/04/10-9/06/10. Thanks for pointing out that I forgot to add the dates of the stay. My bid was accepted for two nights over Labor Day weekend. I also was given the option to extend my stay by bidding for an additional night (at the same rate), either the day before or after my reservation. I do not know if Priceline always does this.
  3. Using the PRICELINE link on this webpage I bid in the Sea World Intl Drive location for $50 and my bid was accepted for the Rosen Shingle Creek. It is a great hotel. I've stayed there before using the info on this site. Thanks to the other user who posted this win on the site. If anyone else wins this hotel consider buying a gift certificate at Restaurant.com for one of the two restaurants listed for a great discount. :)
  4. Using the PRICELINE link on this website, my $54 bid was accepted by the Marriott Orlando Airport for one night 4/22/10-4/23/10. I incrementally increased my bid by $3 until it was accepted by adding zones but not changing the star selection. With tax and fee the total cost is $65.10
  5. You were correct! It was the Rosen Shingle Creek. I booked my stay at this hotel using the HOTWIRE link from this site. Thanks for the help.
  6. I need help confirming a 4* hotel at Orlando (SeaWold I-drive South) for 3/20/10 - 3/21/10. The listed amenities include fitness, pool, restaurant, high-speed, business and golf. Yesterday it was priced by Hotwire at $69 per night. Today it is $62. I believe it is a match with the Rosen Shingle Creek. However, this is considerably lower than comparable hotels and the hotel's rate from other websites. What is the likelihood that it is a different hotel and hotwire removed/changed one of the amenities (e.g., What is the likelihood that it is the Rosen Centre Hotel and Hotwire omitted the laundry amenity)? Is it a new hotel that hasn
  7. Using the HOTWIRE link from this website, I booked the Gaylord Palms in the Disney Main Gate- Celebration area of Orlando for Saturday night (6/13/09-6/14/09). The price is $87/night for a total cost of $104 (with fee and tax). I've stayed there before using the PRICELINE link but I decided to forego bidding the process and opportunity for a lower cost to increaase the odds that I would get the Gaylord. The price is $60 cheaper than the best price listed on the Gaylord's website. Overall, I think it is a great deal considering that the Orlando Magic play at home the following night in the playoffs. Listed was 4.5* Resort Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center High-speed internet Golf Spa Children
  8. Are you sure "smoke free" was not listed as an amenity. The Gaylord Palms usually includes "smoke free" when booking through hotwire.
  9. Using the PRICELINE link on this website, my $89 bid was accepted by the Marriott Orlando World Center for two nights 5-23-09 through 5-25-09. I incrementally increased my bid by $2 until it was accepted by adding zones but not changing the resort selection. I have previously stayed at this resort and it was great. The total cost for a two night stay over Memorial Day weekend (included tax and fee) is $210. This is considerably lower than the cheapest room on Marriott's webpage which is $423 including tax.
  10. I just won a bid for the Gaylord Palms Resort using the PRICELINE link on this site. I started my bidding at $59 and incrementally increased my bid $2-3 by adding additional zones until a bid of $81 was accepted. I was given the option to extend my stay for the same nightly rate. The total cost on Priceline was $99 with tax. (Assuming I matched the amenities and location correctly, this booking was $11 cheaper than the total cost on HOTWIRE ($110 with tax) to obtain the same room for the same date.) 11. Using the PRICELINE.com link from this website, I bid on a resort in Disney World Vicinity. After initial bid of $61 was not accepted in the Walt Disney World Vicinity zone, I incrementally increased bid by including zones that do not have resorts. My bid of $79 was accepted. Total comes to $97.20 with taxes and service fees. Good price considering cheapest room on for Gaylord on Hotels.com was $299 and recognizing that the Super Bowl is 60 miles away in Tampa. Date of stay is 1/31/09-2/1/09
  12. First bid of $72 was rejected. Incrementally increased bid by $3 and zones (not star level) until bid of $84 was accepted (comes to $102.93 with tax and fees). According to Marriott
