  1. Why does it say near beach. Isn't the Diplomat on the beach?
  2. Needed a hotel in the Stapleton area for a conference I'm attending. Bid $33 Stapleton - rejected (with counter to add $15 to $45) Rebid $34 added NE Denver - accepted as follows: Check-In Date: Friday, March 4, 2011 Check-Out Date: Sunday, March 6, 2011 Hotel Name: Red Lion Hotel Denver Central 4040 Quebec Street Denver, Colorado 80216 Your Offer Price: $34.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $68.00 Taxes and Fees: $16.82 Total Charges*: $84.82 Best price on website is $68 per night. Ironically, the conference is in this hotel. Double score!
  3. Won on first bid of $61. I'm SO happy to have received the Element Lexington. I was worried that I might get aloft, but that wouldn't be bad either, just no free breakfast. Best web rate $186. It was $79 on HOTWIRE. I used your PRICELINE link of course!
  4. Thanks for the info. I'm going to wait at this point. When I check the Red Roof website, I don't see anything about smoke free for this property.
  5. I'm looking for a room for 10/22 and found a 2* on Hotwire for $53 with the following amenities: Non Smoking High Speed Internet Recommended in 80 % of Hotwire customer reviews Any idea what property this could be? It doesn't seem to match anything in your list. Thanks
  6. Needed a place for the Glenn Beck event. I bid on 3* properties hoping to get the Residence Inn Vermont Ave. With only 2 zones to choose, I was able to move my dates and finally get a win. I started at $55 and ended up with this property at $95. I could waited, but I think I did well. Upgraded to 3.5* Crowne Plaza Hamilton. Lowest web rates for these dates is $187 on the website. I used your PRICELINE link.
  7. I've been bidding on this for a week or so. PRICELINE kept moving the counter offer higher. Finally won the Hampton Inn - Hallandale. Best rate on website $118.50. I'm happy. Used your PRICELINE link.
  8. Booked Express By Holiday Inn Park Royal 9/30/10 to 10/04/10 at $49 per night (total $247.87). Used your link. Ironically, I was prepared to book a 2.5 in Kensington that I suspected was Express by Holiday Inn Earls Court at $59 per night last week. But when I checked the next day, the price had gone up to $109 per night. Based on the reviews, I think this one will work out better for me. Amenities are Complimentary Breakfast, Restaurant(s), Business Center and High-speed Internet Access which is consistent with other winners for this property.
