I just got the RI for 2/14/09 for $38 on the first bid. I couldn't believe they accepted so I did it again for 2/15 and ended up getting it for $34. Does anyone know how I can consolidate the two? Do I need to call the hotel or Priceline? TIA

Yes it's in Groton but they call it Marriot Mystic. It's for 4/19 - 4/21. Anyone try the "tip trick" there?

Hi all, I just won 2 nights for $110/night. I started bidding at $70 and used $5 increments. Since it's the only 4* property within the vicinity, I was able to bid multiple times a day. I'm sure this wasn't the deal of the year but I feel it's fair since the rack is $219. Has anyone here stayed at this property before? I couldn't find any successfully bids for this property so I had nothing to compare it against. Also, does anyone have any tips or suggestions as to how to get a free/low cost upgrade to a whirlpool room? TIA
