  1. I would bid up to $110 for 4 star, $100 for 3.5 star, and $75 for 3 star. I do have the Entertainment Coupon, which addes $6.67 per day for three days. The amounts I put are prior to using the coupon.
  2. I haven't used Priceline in at least 5 years so I'm looking for advice. I'm looking for a room 3 nights, Fri 10/21/11 - Mon 10/24/11, French Quarter only. Budget is about $150 per night. I want to stay in a nice place, at least 3 stars. A representative slection of prices for those dates that I see are: Crowne Plaza $233 Wyndham $223 Marriott $317 Holiday Inn $269 Ramada $262 French market Inn $155 Chateau Dupay $169 Prices were all from Orbitz. So far I put on a few low bids I knew would not be accepted to re-familiarize myself with the process. I bid up to $82 on a 4 star and $77 for a 3.5 star. My questions is when should I start bidding seriously? One consideration is that there is Saints home game Sunday night, Oct 23rd. One hotel, the Omni, had no availability for my dates, and that was on the hotel website itself.
  3. I'm new to this site. I first used Priceline last year for two trips, both domestic. Will be in Paris in July for five nights. Can anyone tell me the best what are the best regions to try to stay in? We will mostly be doing the typical tourist things (Louvre, Notre Dame, Versailles, Picasso museum, Eiffel Tower, etc.). I will be bidding for four stars only. I know to avoid the airport zones.
