Used PRICELINE link from this site. Initially tried for 3.5*, up to $60/night. Then went for 3* and was accepted at $48, for 7 nights. Very pleased with win, this was the 3* Hotel we wanted due to its location. Thanks for this forum.
Used PRICELINE link from this site. Started bidding on 3* and 3.5* Hotels, for 8 nights, until this bid was accepted. Didn't try 4* incase we won Sheraton Hotel and Marina, on Harbour Island. Very pleased with win. Less than half the price on Holiday Inn website. Complimentary shuttle is a plus as we won't be driving! Thanks for this forum.
Thanks thereuare. No, I was bidding on a 4* hotel when given that counter-offer but declined it as I was looking for a better price. I would have been happy with any of the 3* or higher hotels in D/T Minneapolis, as they all seem to have good locations.
Used PRICELINE link from this site. Bid on 3* upwards to $58 and was then offered to "increase my bid by $17 and try again right now" on a 4* hotel but I declined. Bid of 3* $60 was accepted, which was the Radisson Plaza, D/T Minneapolis. Very pleased with win as there is alot going on in Minneapolis at that time of year. Thanks for this Forum.

Used the HOTWIRE link from this site. Amenities:- Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool, Business Center, Laundry. This was my preferred Hotel, so very happy with this win. Also, got $221.94 HotDollars off the price due to a previous amenities error by Hotwire. What a bargain!
Thanks thereuare. I emailed Hotwire about the discrepency with the amenities and they've confirmed that the Hotel doesn't offer Complimentary Breakfast. So, they've amended their website and offered to cancel the reservation with a full refund and help find an alternative Hotel, or $221.94 HotDollars towards my next purchase. I've accepted their HotDollars offer.
Used the HOTWIRE link from this site. Hotel amenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Laundry, Internet Access. Although, Hotel website doesn't state Complimentary Breakfast, only on-site Restaurant Bar & Grille but each room does includes microwave, small fridge and coffee/tea maker. Very happy with win!
Used PRICELINE link from this site. Bid up to $66, then was prompted to add $17, which was accepted. Average price is $229/night. Absoultely delighted! Coming from Scotland, UK to explore Pittsburgh, watch baseball & College football. Hopefully, there are no problems for PRICELINE with my UK credit card! 2* Orange County (Anaheim-Disneyland North) for $35/night. Stated as Best Value. Amenities: Pool, Laundry. Ended as Extended StayAmerica Orange County-Anaheim Convention Center. Purchased through this boards HOTWIRE link. Thank you, theruare, for leaving "Pool" under the amenities on the Hotwire Hotels List. This made it easy to work it out, as this was the hotel I wanted. What a bargain!
