  1. Started at $125. Up'ed the offer to $150 and added Culver city since there is no 4* in that area but no success. Made offer for $175 and added West Hollywood area. Bingo - wish I tried $160 as that might have worked as well. Hilton Checkers seems like a decent 4*. First time here so hope its good.
  2. Started with 4* in Beverly Hills - West Hollywood at $95, rejected Added Brentwood - Westwood, up'ed offer to $110, got accepted. Maybe I should up'ed it to $100 maybe. Given the short notice, I didn't want to take chance with re-bid tomorrow. Anyway, I am happy because this still looks like a good deal compared to HotWire which had 4* for $168, and of course the rate is much higher $269 on Hyatt website. What do you guys think? Any advise to help improve the bidding are welcome.

  4. Looks like lot of people of got this hotel for the same price for months of Aug-Dec 09. First bid was for $99, Waikiki Beach area, Resort - and I got it. (don't chose 4* category instead use Resorts)
  5. Adding Culver City to areas automatically selected the 3* level. I don't remember explicitly lowering the star level. I think thats what happened but its possible I am mis-remembering.
  6. 1st attempt was for $70, 4*, Santa Monica Del-Rey - failed 2nd attempt was $75 - added Culver City - Got it (though I really wanted Marina Del-Rey) Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $75.00 Subtotal: $150.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $30.29 Total Charges*: $180.29
  7. 1. First bid $60 2. Add area without 4*, re-bid at $65 3. Add another area without 4*, rebid at $70 4. Add one more, re-bid at $75, got it this time Wish I had gone in smaler increments but still a great price(I think). Anyone know how much is the valet parking in this hotel or are there any other car parking options near-by? Thanks.
