  2. First bid $50. got residence inn by Van mall. Used link on site to PRICELINE
  3. Tried 4* option for $60 got counter of $75. Did not want to spend that much with seattle fees. Tried $50 at 3.5* no go Put in $55 for 3* accepted Hotel MAX with Seattle taxes price ends up being @$75
  4. looked at prices on forum. looked at prices on HOTWIRE. Went through betterbidding to PRICELINE First bid $50. Got it yeah baby

  6. Yeah I pretty much go straight to PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, and Kayak. Then I post on here the price I get. I will make a point of it to go here then use the link to login to my PRICELINE and HOTWIRE accounts. I'm from this area. Use the light rail quite a bit to go to airport. I live on Kitsap peninsula.
  7. Bid for renton and airport area first at $30. Priceline came back and said raise bid $12. Raised bid to $42 got the Seatac doubletree. Was bidding for five days 1/25-1/30 Only problem beware Seatac airport doubletree has a daily parking cost of $16. should have not included airport area in bid. Total cost with parking fees and Seattle area taxes is $329.95 or $66 a day
  8. Bid $70 today 10/14 for 4* downtown seattle on 10/15. Bid for two rooms. Hit it right off. Saw the other post of $66 but wanted get rooms right off and not have to re-bid. Awarded the westin on fifth.
  9. Lakeway Inn three star Hotel is undergoing renovations. Good restaurants on site. Pool is in a center courtyard area. So it can get noisy. Be aware that rooms close to doors can get cigarette smoke in them if you have the bathroom exhaust fan on. Nice comfortable beds.
  10. Hotel was rated a a 3.5 star on hotwire which is these amenities * A well-known, on-site restaurant * Large, quality rooms * Room service * Health and fitness center * Business administrative center Hotel does not have a well known restaurant on site Hotel does not have a business administration center Fitness center is very small. Hotwire recently downgraded this hotel rating to a 3 star and gave me $25 hotdollars! Way to go HOTWIRE for rewarding people who reveiw the hotels they stay at.
  11. Red Lion on fifth. Hotel is doin renovations. Hence the low price. Price looks like it is good during the week also. Hotel is a little worn. Beds are comfortable. Toliet had flushing problems. TV is a old CRT 27". Parking is expensive . Downtown hotels are best for people without cars. Sign up and use zipcar instead of renting a car. No parking fees. Hotel does not rate a 3.5 star right now. More like a 2.5 star.
  12. Bid bid and bid some more. Final bid $80 for 4 star. Counter offer of $102. Took it.
  13. Initial bid $55. Priceline came back and said add $15. Got the doubletree for $70 for one night on 7/23
  14. last minute search. All other services showed rental car companies booked. HOTWIRE showed mid size for 40 standard for 44 and premium for 53.
  15. First shot in for a 3 star, was trying for Hilton Exec tower on 6th. Got the holiday inn by coliseum.
  16. total cost $106. Boy those taxes certainly crank up the price. Got a chevy cobalt.
  17. just started working it on priceline from $30. Booked three rooms on 9/28. Be aware that parking is $23 a day but it continues until 4Pm on the day you check out with in and out privlidges. :)
