FYI, I recently got the 4* Marriott Copenhagen for $97 for 1 night March 4-5. I started low and received similar counteroffers to the one mentioned over several days. I used the priceline.co.uk site to avoid foreign currency surcharges on my credit card, so couldn't use the betterbidding.com link. Or is there one for the British Priceline site?
Aimed specifically for this hotel. Started bidding yesterday for 4* in Henderson area from $70, using free rebids up to $100, which was rejected. I was given a 'special offier' to increase my bid to $125 straight after the first bid. Started bidding at $100 today and got it at $115. Rate on hotel website: $259. Used savingsbarn.com link.
Started bidding at $45, increasing $1 per free rebid, got it at $60. There were comeback offers at $52 and $56, prompting to increase by bid $15 and $17 respectively. Ignored and continued bidding. Rate on hotel website $299!
