  1. Offer: $38 Dec. 16th (2 nights) 1 room 2 nights Subtotal: $76 Taxes: $17.34 Total: $93.34 Got a 1 King Suite. No parking fee, no resort fee. Called hotel to upgrade to 2 queen suite. Got it upgraded for $10/day. Advertised rate for the hotel was around $129/night. I specifically avoided the 3.5 hotel (probably would have got Crowne Plaza) since they were charging a resort fee + fee for fridge and micro (with no guarantee). I called a few on Thereuare's list of hotels for priceline and checked which ones had a fridge + microwave, and was glad to get one with a full kitchen. I think this is the best option for people with small kids. Bid again for 2 nights starting 20th and got the same rate for 2 nights. (total $93) Chose to extend stay by 2 nights - for $44 rate for 2 nights (total $107) Upgraded by $10/day for a nights. Duh! Forgot the hotel....Residence Inn by Marriott (3*).
  2. :) I have been trying for the last few days as well and didn't get any bid accepted till $107 (been trying for all Saturdays in September). However, message last time was different...it said that Priceline found a hotel for $152 for a 4* in Santa Rosa - so that should be the Vineyard. That is kinda high for me....but I guess that is where the rate is at now.
