My first time, quite happy with this! I was going to give Priceline a go but the Hollywood area was so much bigger on there than on Hotwire that I decided to stick with the hotel I'd hoped would be the Roosevelt. I usually stay in the cheapest place I can find but decided to treat myself for one night at the end of my trip when I return from San Diego. Very happy when the Roosevelt was confirmed! The rate was $157 plus taxes, and I got $25 off using a coupon code for booking thru the app, which more or less wiped out the taxes.
