Have business during the week in Aurora but decided I'd prefer to continue my stay in downtown Denver and make the drive instead and enjoy the nightlife. Thought I might match my $60 deal at the Sheraton but ended up at the Hyatt Regency for the same price. Need some quick help in identifying this hotel. Need to decide between this and another $79 hotel listed as 3* which I'm pretty sure from previous posts is the Silver Cloud - Broadway. This other one is listed with: 3.5* Fitness Center Restaurant Business Center Hi-speed Internet 90% Recommend Overall satisfaction 4.5 but 3.5 on location $79 for May 9-11 Thx
Booked 2 rooms @ $59 ea. = $118 + fees of $19.75 for total of $137.75 Lowest rate on hotel web-site was $89.10 AAA rate + 12.5% tax = $100.24/room x 2 = $200.48 Savings = 31% or $62.73 ($31.36/room) AMENITIES shown on Hotwire were FITNESS CENTER & RESTAURANT Hope this helps someone out there. A 4 star would be worth more to me than a 3 star for Downtown Portland. My max for a 4 star would be $68 and for a 3 star $60. I would also consider a 2.5 start with a max of $45. I have bid unsuccessfully today as follows: 3* @ $42 Downtown Portland / rejected 3/4* @ $58 " / rejected 2.5/3* @ $42 " / rejected Do I understand correctly that the waiting period to rebid without changing other parameters is now 24 hrs? Would welcome any advice, strategy other info. thanks.
