  3. I always use BB site to begin our purchases, it is a great site. Also JB, I see that you have made some recommendations on restaurants around this area, could you remind me which places to check out. There are 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 3rd grade to college. Thanks!!!

Booked two rooms, put in 2 adults only, and had an offer for $95, put in 2 adults and 2 kids (for each room), offer went to $99. Bought it, it was the James. 5. Any ideas on a 3* on Mackinac Island for $122 (decent price for Mackinac at any time) Near Beach Fintness Pool Restaurant High Speed
  6. I stayed in the Loews Downtown Montreal the night before for $75, so it was just a little bit of a shock. This was the tired old Hilton from the groovy days, it needs to be gutted. Any I am not a picky lodger.
  7. Used the PRICELINE link, accepted a bid of $30 for this 3*. HI Select was new and easy to find. Couldn't stay home for 30 bucks.
  8. Accepted my first bid of $50 for a room at the airport, took it because I was flying out early. This is the former Hilton. I am not a complainer but I would avoid this 3*, it is run down. It is a good location for the airport, but there are probably nicer 2* in the area. Used the PRICELINE Link to purchase.
  9. Checked Hotwire first, saw a 4.5* for $123 which looked like the Loews. Bid $75 on PRICELINE, bid was accepted on the first try. Great location, walked to everything. Used the PRICELINE link to get the transaction rolling.
  10. I used the PRICELINE link from betterbidding.com Your Hotel Receipt Check-In Date: June 17, 2009 Check-Out Date: June 18, 2009 Hotel Name: Marriott Atlanta Airport 4711 Best Road Atlanta, Georgia 30337 404-766-7900 Summary of Charges Your Offer Price: $50.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $50.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $14.54 Total Charges*: $64.54
  11. Needed a room downtown quickly, bid $60 for a 4* and landed the Renaissance Grand. Parked on the street for free, skipped the valet. I think you are good between 6pm - 7am on the street, as long as there are no signs. Got that from a local resident, but maybe I just got lucky. Also went to the Tigers vs Cards game, Tigers got blown out :) !! Used your PRICELINE link!
  12. Used your link to PRICELINE, bid $45 for a 4* Downtown, Saint Louis. PL countered with add $13 and get a 4* right now. Added rebid zone, and upped to $50, rejected. Added another rebid zone and upped the bid to $53, got the Marriott.
  13. Started bidding at $40, trying to get a room at the Toronto Airport. $40 rejected. Added rebid zone without a 4* (not sure which one) and raised the bid to $45, still rejected. Added one more rebid zone (again, not sure which one) and raised bid to $50, got the Marriott. There are alot of rebid zones in Toronto without a 4*, I was surprised. Seems to be the going rate. Used your PRICELINE Link to start the transaction.
  14. Checked out on the 28th, sorry I didn't catch that. One night only.
  15. Checked HOTWIRE first, 4* Downtown STL going for $68 for this night. Used your link to PRICELINE, bid $50 for a 4* Downtown, based on previous wins posted on your site. Got Marriott Union Station on my first try, maybe I should have started at $40, but that would probably be too low. Great site!!!
  16. Going to a Graduation at Carnegie Mellon. Looked first on HOTWIRE, $74 for a 3.5 star at the PIT Airport. Not much else out there, everything was really expensive. Started at $50, using Airport Zone only, rejected. Added Downtown, raised to $60, snagged the Airport Hyatt. Happy with this hotel, started with the PRICELINE link on Better Bidding, your site is great, I tell everyone. This weekend is almost full in Pittsburgh, I think it is graduation weekend at all the Universities.
  17. I got the Renaissance for $46. Got two rooms at that price. Date was 4/15. Bid $40 - Told I could bid $52 to get room instantantly, to cheap for that, and what fun is that. Bid $42 - Rejected Bid $44 - Rejected Bid $46 - Got it. Used the PRICELINE link on betterbidding. Thanks. Great location, nothing fancy for a 4*, the people were very nice.
