  1. Thanks Yellowdog for your advice about the bidding process. The two 4* hotels are in the Sea World/International Drive area and the 3.5* hotel is in the Universal area. Can you help me figure out what those could be?
  2. Hi Yellowdog and thank you for your valuable feedback. I am not interested in the Crowne Plaza Universal, but I am willing to either consider the Sea World area as well or increase my bid to get one of the onsite Universal hotels. Do you think a bid of up to $150/night could work for the Universal 4* on-site hotel, or that's too low as well? What would be my options for a 4* Sea World hotel and how much should I bid for that? I just searched PRICELINE EXPRESS deals for hotels in the Sea World area and found the following deals. Can you help me figure out which hotels these are? 4* hotel for $83/night Rated 9.0 out of 10 (or higher) Guaranteed Amenities: Outdoor Swimming Pool Business Center Fitness Center Check In: Tue Jul 15, 2014 Check Out: Tue Jul 22, 2014 4* hotel for $87/night Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) Guaranteed Amenities: Free Internet in public areas Outdoor Swimming Pool Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center Check In: Tue Jul 15, 2014 Check Out: Thu Jul 24, 2014 3.5* hotel for $113/night Rated 9.0 out of 10 (or higher) Guaranteed Amenities: Outdoor Swimming Pool Fitness Center Check In: Tue Jul 15, 2014 Check Out: Fri Jul 25, 2014 Thanks again....you're a great help!
  3. Hi Aaron and thank you. My maximum bid would be $125 per night for a 4 star hotel similar to the JW Marriott or the Royal Pacific. I am interested in a hotel that is either on Universal property or provides shuttle service to the Universal theme parks and Sea world. Do you have any recommendations for me?
  4. Hi, I need advice on how much I should bid for a 4* hotel in the Universal Orlando area. There are only two 4* hotels that are currently available for my dates in that area: Loews Royal Pacific and JW Marriott Grande Lakes. The dates are 07/15/2014 - 07/23/2014. I've bid $108/night, but my bid was not accepted. My budget is $150/night including taxes/fees and parking. Do you have any recommendations for me?
  5. Yes. That's right. This was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal and as far as I can remember the amenities listed were: Outdoor Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center
  6. If I bid on a hotel that's offering a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. How much lower can I expect to go?
  7. Thanks yellowdog, you're awesome! Unfortunately, the priceline express deal was no longer available for the dates I wanted, so I had to adjust my dates. Still looking for another hotel for the rest of my stay. Will keep searching priceline express deals.
  8. Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney Star Rating: 4 Star Guest Score: Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) Guaranteed Amenities: Outdoor Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center . Check In: Tue Jul 22, 2014 Check Out: Thu Aug 7, 2014 Price: $98 per night Plus taxes and fees Resort Fees: $16 Can you help me identify this hotel.
  9. I've been looking at almost every hotel in the downtown Disney/lake Buena vista, Orlando area and couldn't find any that have a resort fee of $16. Could priceline be mistaken about either the guest rating or the resort fee? Or is there something else that I need to understand about these deals?
  10. I checked on the offer and it is still available...the dates I entered are July 22 to August 7. Can you please let me know which hotel you think this is. The amenities are: Outdoor Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center Price per night: $98 Rooms: 1 Nights: 16 Room Subtotal: $1,568.00 Taxes & Fees: $249.60 Additional Mandatory Fee: $256.00 The guest rating is 8 out of 10 (or higher), so is it safe to assume that it is not the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort?
  11. My budget is around $125 per night (inclusive of taxes, fees and resort fees, if any) and I accessed Priceline.express deals through this web site and found a 4 stars hotel in the Lake Buena Vista/Down town Disney area, guest rating is 8, which looks within my budget range. It is for $98 per night, plus taxes and fees, plus a resort fee of $16 night. Dates are July, 22 to August, 7. The amenities listed are: Pets allowed Outdoor or indoor pool Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center Can you help me identify it.
  12. Thanks. I am interested in the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for the 4 stars hotel that I mentioned above. The dates are July 22 to August 7 and I got a deal for $98 a night plus taxes and fees, plus $16 a night resort fees. I listed the amenities in my earlier message. can you please help me identify the hotel.
  13. I couldn't either. So I used these dates: 07/22/2014 - 08/07/2014, as they are still within my stay period.
  14. Hi and thanks for the info. I accessed Priceline express deals through this web site and found a 4 stars hotel in the Lake Buena Vista/Down town Disney area, guest rating is 8, for $98 per night, plus taxes and fees, plus a resort fee of $16 night. The amenities listed are: Pets allowed Outdoor or indoor pool Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center Which hotel is this likely to be?
  15. I'm traveling to Orlando from July 15 to August 7 and would like to stay in the Downtown Disney/Lake Buena Vista area. Does my bid have a better chance of being accepted because of the extended duration of my stay? I'd like to stay in a 4.5 stars hotel. Which hotel am I likely to get and how much should I bid? If the 5 stars is cheaper than the 4.5 stars in that area, I am likely to get that one instead?
