  1. Got 3 nights at the Omni for $156 3/15 thru 3/18. Amenities were Fitness, Restaurant, Business and Internet. Tripadvisor rating was 4 of 5, 240 plus reviews. Knew this was the Omni which is my favorite hotel in NY. Used the HOTWIRE link.
  2. Got 2 rooms at Hyatt Century City for $101 per room per night. Used the PRICELINE link above. Thanks for a great site.
  3. Got the Omni Berkshire for 11/20 - 11/23 at $284/night. Amenities were: Restaurant Fitness Hi Speed Internet Business and it was a 'Customer Favorite' which doesn't show up in the hotel list. I figured it was the Omni because tripadvisor rating was 4.0 with 240 reviews. I'm very happy to get the Omni at this rate. I used the HOTWIRE link. Thanks for this site. It's great. By the way, this hotel didn't show up when I put in 2 or 4 guests per room. It only showed up with 3 guests per room.
  4. Booked 5 nights for a friend. Got the Hyatt Century Plaza for $125. I started at $115 and increased by $5 increments and was successful at $125. I can't believe we got all 5 nights at one time and at this rate.
  5. I finally got the Hotel Prescott for Sat Night 5/17. I started at $125 went up in $5 increments and was successful at $135. I'm very happy to get this on this very busy weekend. I originally tried to book both Fri and Sat nights but Fri night was impossible. Many rooms are sold out that night.
  6. I've been trying for a 4 star that weekend. I've bid up to $125. It's also graduation weekend for UC Berkeley and USF - very busy. I'll let you know if I get anything. Fortunately, I can change my plans if I don't get anything.
  7. Amenities are Fitness, Restaurant, business Center, High Speed Internet. 2 rooms 2 nights @ $106 per nght. 7/13 - 7/15. Never stayed here but the location is great. Used the HOTWIRE link. Thanks for the site
  8. There's a semiconductor convention at Moscone Center the nights you are looking. It must be a big one as hotel rates are high then.
  9. Oops - meant to include the amenities. They were: Fitness, Business Center, Restaurant, Hi Speed Internet and Customer Favorite. Thanks
  10. Got the SF Omni in Embarcadero for $103 night - 6/14 until 6/16. This is the hotel we wanted so am very pleased. Used the HOTWIRE link. Thanks
  11. Got two rooms for the night of 6/20th at the 4.5* Langham hotel. Amenities were Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Business, Internet. Price is $138 per room. I'm very happy with the rate as prices are high that night in Boston for some reason. Used the HOTWIRE Link. Thanks
  12. Hi I can't figure out what hotel this would be. It's a Customer Favorite with Fitness, Restaurant, business, Internet and SPA. The Spa is what throws me. Does anyone know what hotel this might be. I'm thinking possibly Grand Hyatt. thanks
  13. Used the Better Bidding link to HOTWIRE. Accepted $149 for 4* Omni Shoreham. Amenities were: Fitness Restaurant Hi Speed Internet Pool Business Center Spa While not a fabulous rate, I'm pleased. I'll be staying at the Omni from 4/10 - 4/13 so I'm happy to get an extra night at the same hotel for half the price of the other nights.
  14. Started at $75 for a 4* (2 rooms) - rejected. Added Cathedral Hill at $80 - rejected. Added Civic Center at $88 - accepted at Marriott Downtown. Best internet rate for the night is $229 so this is a great deal!
  15. My best guess is it's the Best Western Roundhouse which is showing up as a 2 1/2 star in the hotel list. By the way, I'm looking for a hotel the same nights you are. Prices are high. I think it's because of graduations in Boston.
  16. I started out bidding for the entire trip in Dupont Circle which is where we wanted to be. Started at $75 and went up to $100 for 4 star only. Increased in $5 increments and added zones without 4 stars - no luck Decided to split up trip into 2 segments. The first was 6/15 - 6/18. Started at $80 for 4 star in Dupont Circle and was successful at $85 for 2 rooms at Westin Embassy Row. I was surprised to get Thurs night at this rate but then the Palomar Hotel is opening on 6/15 in Dupont Circle area. Maybe this added inventory helped. Next segment of 6/13-6/15 was more difficult. Started at $80 for 4 star in Capitol/Convention Center. Increased in $10 increments via same strategy as above. Added Dupont circle at $120. Was finally successful at $130 for 2 rooms at Renaissance Washington DC which is in Capitol/convention center. Was thrilled to get this as going rates for these two days are much higher. I suppose I could have gotten the second segment at a cheaper price if I waited but wanted to be done with it.
