We ended up booking 4* Hotel Zone - Convention Center and got the RIU Palace Las Americas ($308/night). HOTWIRE showed that it was the last hotel booked and the 95% recommended was a dead giveaway as well. We wanted three separate rooms but a single room in the RPLA isn't a bad trade off. With taxes/fees the total for 3 adults was $2600. Not too shabby. Thanks for putting together a great site. Here's to Vaca in May!
