New hotel for the list....my first 2* bid of $35 was rejected (with a $43 counter offer). My second 2* bid of $38 (adding the BWI East zone) was accepted. Nice hotel, I have stayed there before.
Got this on the first bid....not sure if Priceline would have accepted lower, but I was short on time, and cheapest hotel on Hotwire was $101, so probably not too bad of a deal...
First bid of $40 for a 2.5* hotel in Fishkill was rejected (PL made a counter-offer of $53, which I refused). I added Newburgh zone (which has no 2.5 * hotels), and second bid of $44 for 2.5* was rejected. I added New Paltz (also no 2.5* hotels here), and third bid of $47 for 2.5* was accepted.
New hotel for the list....my 1* Fredonia bid was rejected at $40 yesterday, and accepted at $43 today, so this must be close to the sweet spot....same hotel on Hotwire was $49.
Saw this hotel on Hotwire for $111 (matched BetterBidding's list of amenities), so I went to PRICELINE to undercut the Hotwire price as much as possible. Lotsa free rebids at Priceline for 3.5* hotels, so I bid it up slowly, rejecting PRICELINE's counter offers of $108. $95 was the lowest they'd accept (I know this because they rejected my prior bid of $94). Saved me $16 per night over HOTWIRE price!

Saw same hotel on Hotwire for $65 (matched BetterBidding's amenities), so I went to Priceline to bid lower, and won first bid of $57/night. Lowest price I've seen for this place in a while....
Saw same hotel on Hotwire for $60 (matched BetterBidding's list of amenities), so I went on Priceline to see if they'd accept a lower bid. First Priceline bid of $52 was rejected - Priceline made counter offer of $61, which I passed on. My second bid of $55 (adding Newburgh as a free rebid zone - no 2.5* hotels there) was accepted.

Saw same hotel on Hotwire for $78 (matched BetterBidding's amenities), so I went to Priceline to bid lower, and won first bid of $70/night. Total with taxes/fees came to $248, which saved me $25 over what Hotwire would have been....
Got this on first bid....noticed same hotel on Hotwire for $72 (matched betterbiddings amenities), so undercut it a bit on Priceline and won....total price of $146.72 was about $25 less than Hotwire's total price for two nights.
Got this on first bid - probably should have started with a slightly lower bid, but this is a mid-week stay (other cheaper bids shown at betterbidding are weekends). Overall I'm happy considering AAA rate is $218/night.
Had been bidding this one up slowly for days (starting at 2* 40 bid), as I was expecting to get this for a few $$ less....2* $52 bid was rejected before I hit on my 2* $55 bid.
