I needed to get 2 rooms at the Golden Nugget as others in my party are staying there. I tried last week.... bid $45 - rejected rebid $50 - rejected bid $55 - rejected - was offered $69 but didn't accept. This morning I checked and no rooms at the Nugget were available so I checked Hotwire and they were $84/night. I got a little but upset at myself for not booking last week when rooms were available. Got home this evening and checked Priceline again and to my surprise Golden Nugget was available. bid $55 - rejected - was offered $69 but didn't accept. bid again $65 - ACCEPTED. I could have gotten it a little bit cheaper but I needed the Nugget and I didn't want to chance it. Oh - and I made a donation. Thanks for the site.

I tried your suggestion but with no luck. I bid up to $390 + taxes = $430 and still no go. They offered to book my flight at the regular price of $470 if I wanted to but I passed. Thanks for the help anyway.

All of the flights from smf to anc. have at least 1 layover so that isn't a problem and neither is the time of departure. The tickets I have found are about $390 + taxes = $470. I was going to try and save around $100 per ticket.

I am looking to fly from Sac. (smf) to Anchorage (anc). Leave on 2-28 and return on 3-6. Plus or minus a day. need 2 tickets. best I can find right now are around $470 per RT ticket. I have tried Orbitz and the rest already. I am thinking about trying Priceline and need some advice on bidding. Also - does PL let you pick which seats you want? Thanks

I bid 3* Waikiki south - $58 - no go added airport and bid $65 - no go Started over 3* south & Ilihani - bid $75 - still nothing added airport and bid $80 - Got exactly what other people have been getting - the Radisson I will be using this site from now.

Thank you for the welcome. I checked the rates and I see that I can get the AAA rate of $155 and the Government rate is $129 for the times that I will be there. I saw that some other people have gotten this Hotel for $80 within the past week or so and I thought that I might get the same deal.

This is my first time so go easy on me ok. I am looking for a 3* hotel in Waikiki (South) May 4 to May 11 for 2 people. This is what I came up with from reading here and the maps @ PL. 7 - 3* hotels in the Waikiki area The Double Tree Alana, Renaissance, and Waikiki Marina Resort, are all in (north) Waikiki. The Radisson Waikiki Prince Kuio, Resortquest Waikiki Sunset, and Resortquest Waikiki Beach are all in the (south), where I want to stay. The Resortquest Pacific Monarch I think is north but not positive. From what I have read this is my strategy. Bid 3* South for $60. If no go then 3* for $65 + add airport for free re-bid. Then 3* for $70 and add Ihilani. I know there is a resort there but I probably won't get it for the price I want to pay. The most I want to pay is around $85. I know I can get the Gateway for $65 from thier Website but I want to try and get something better. I am trying for the Radisson Prince. Any help would be appreciated.
