  1. Thanks for the quick reply. I will update after I finalize my plans.
  2. Please help with the following info: travel 8/9-8/10 4*MTE $135.00 100% recommended. 4.5 stars on Trip advisor Only amenities listed: Restaurant Self service laundry Smoke free rooms Accessible path of travel Accessible bathroom Roll in shower FYI....i found this listing using the "regular" hotwire tab using the bidding helper. This listing does not show under the "easy view" tab. Thank you in advance for any help.
  3. Sorry for the uber late follow up. I could have sworn I'd already updated. I needed up booking the Hyatt 48 Lex through their website for this trip.
  4. I haven't been on Priceline since Jun 2014. I'm now planning a trip for March. I've been checking the Express deals for my dates, 28Mar-01Apr, for 4 1/2 star hotels in MTE. I used to be able to guess which hotel it was by the rating, amenities and bed choices. Now the bed choices are very vague. Instead of saying studio queen, or studio king (just examples) it says room will be assigned at check in. I'm not asking for help identifying certain hotels. My question is has anyone else noticed this? Is Priceline intentionally doing this in order to make guessing harder? I apologize if this has already discussed.
  5. Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I would like some opinions on what the hotels may be. One has a 9+ rating, amenities include pets, restaurant, business center and gym. The rate is currently $205. I'm guessing this one is the Omni Berkshire. The second choice has an 8+ rating. The amenities are pets, business center and gym and the current rate is $169.00. I'm debating if this is the Hyatt 48 or the Waldorf. Have the Benjamin or the Palace been reported as 4.5* options for Priceline express? Thanks for your help.
  6. I just checked Priceline Express for 4.5* for MTE for dates 10-13 July and it shows 2 options that are both 4.5*. This is the first time I've noticed 2 options for the same rating. Has anyone seen this before?
  7. I ended up booking Hyatt 48 Lex through booking.com. I booked a refundable reservation early just in case. Glad I did because the rate was actually a little cheaper than the rates on Price.line and Hot.wire as the dates grew closer.
  8. I have checked several times and the accessibility amenities just are not there on my account. Sorry...
  9. These are all the amenities listed on my confirmation page. I did not write the amenities down prior to booking...I thought id be able to access ALL of them under my account but I cannot. I will be staying in NYC until 17Apr that's why I needed more assistance.
  10. Amenities: Pet friendly, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access,
  11. Long overdue update. I did not take this trip so I don't have a win to report
  12. Using the BiddingHelper.com, I just took another look under the Hotwire easy view and everything else is the same. My search criteria is for 14Apr-17Apr for 2 adults. Thank you.
  13. Discounted from $422....it looks like that part got cut off.
  14. I need help with an educated guess on which hotel(s) this may be, The dates are 14 Apr-17 Apr for an opaque hotel. Thank you. Details: FULL AMENITIES: Hotwire customer reviews: Price: Fitness Center, 90% recommended $290 (discounted from $422) Restaurant(s), 4 1/2 overall satisfaction Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom FYI...I have already updated my previous trips. 15. Hello. My travel dates are 27-30 Nov. Please give me a bidding strategy. Thanks in advance.
  16. For now I only want to focus on MTE. I may become flexible if my budget doesn't fit with my bidding.
  17. Hello. I need a bidding strategy for 4.5* hotel in MTE with $220 (+/ $20.00) being my max bid per night. I don't have any firm dates I just know that travel will be late Nov. No urgency, I am trying to be proactive so when I do get the dates I can start bidding right away. Thank you.
  18. I figured at the bidding strategy and adding new zones. I started my bid at $120.00 until $131.00 was accepted.
  19. Thank you for your help. I actually looked at some of the strategies you gave others and it clicked. I figured out how to maximize my number of bids. I know that i told you any zone was fine but I REALLY wanted the Benjamin. I started my bid with MTE as my "A" zone at $120.00 and kept adding zones and rebidding until $131 was accepted. It ended up being The Benjamin!! You are a GENIUS. I want to post my win but I cannot remember how. I dont remember what I clicked on.
  20. Please help me with a bidding strategy for a 4 1/2 star hotel in NYC any zone for 26Aug-29Aug. I would like to spend no more than $200.00 per night. I also have a question. I've noticed in your strategies that you instruct to close your browser after several failed bids and access Priceline using this site. I don't understand why closing the browser and accessing Priceline here versus their website helps. Just trying to "educate" myself. Thank you.
  21. Hello all. I'll try and make a long story short. I started my bid at 170 for the Midtown East zone and was rejected until I kept adding zones that did not include 4 1/2 star hotels until my bid of $178.00 was accepted. I made this bid for only 1 night until I saw the hotel. My plan was to add additional nights at the same rate if i was pleased with the hotel Priceline chose. I could not extend at that price but could add one more night for $232.00 so i did. My trip is for 5 days so I needed to add 3 more nights. I changed my dates and started again at $170 and conitnued to add zones until my bid of $180.00 was accepted. Again, I tried to add additional nights at the same rate but there was no availability at that rate. To sum this up I have managed to get 3 nights at the New York Palace for a total of $733.27 (taxes and fees included). I plan on continuing to bid and hopefully get this same hotel for 2 more days. I already have another refundable hotel booked (the Benjamin) in case that doesnt work out. I am THRILLED with my win so far.
