  2. I've been having trouble with bidding on the Priceline HK site in the last couple days. I sent an email to customer service. Here is the main part of the response:

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. The error messages you received are due to our system upgrading work. The database would be up from 1/Sep/2003.

What happened is that I put a bid in, and got a response that a hotel would have accepted my bid, but that I needed a new credit card. Then my next credit card got the same message. So far as I could tell, there was nothing wrong with my credit cards, thus I sent the emails. I now doubt the bids were actual winners - they were quite low rates.

So any bids you try on the Priceline Asian sites before September 1 might not work out regardless (they really should put a notice up if this is widespread).

    :)

I also some information that several guys did the opposit problems happend.

I gave you the tip.If you have Amex card you can use in HK and SG perhaps.

Beacause I just did the opposit I am linving in Asia, and can use the visa and Amex at asian priceline however I can be acccepted in US priceline only in Amex. I prefer using Visa or master,,. I do not have any reason that may consider the visa issued country. If you have isseued the visa credit card in Asia you perhaps can use it in asisan priceline.

This is a considered situation depend on your problem and other FFQ travellers discussion.

For me, I did use Amex in US pricelien already without fail.

    regards,
