Starting to look into hotels for stay in April. 1st trip to ATL. Was considering staying downtown since that's where our activities are planned, but now thinking Buckhead might be better for family travel. Anyway, 4.5* Buckhead >$200 Easter week, 4 maybe 5 nights. Price seems high compared to previous posts, but it is Easter week. Will post later with final outcome. Thank you.

That's an incredible rate! For my dates in April the rate is significantly higher, $204 per night. I realize it's a peak time (right after Easter). Would appreciate any thoughts on waiting if rate might change as date gets closer. I'll be traveling with my two young boys and am leaning towards Buckhead instead of Downtown. Even though our trip does revolve around downtown daytime activities, I'm thinking Buckhead might be better for us at night. We'll train it downtown. Thanks! Love this site, haven't been on in ages.
