  1. Got the hotel for $89 plus a $5/night coupon. Here's my bidding history: Yesterday 3* Napa $75+$5...rejected 3* Napa/Upper Napa Valley $80+$5...add $15 Today 3* Napa $82+$5...add $15 3* Napa/Upper Napa Valley $85+$5...add $15 (The following two bids I used my wife's name and a different credit card so I could keep bidding) 3* Napa $87+$5...add $15 3* Napa/Upper Napa Valley $89+$5...accepted
  2. I had a $5/night coupon, so I paid $78+tax. I started bidding today for the night of July 3rd. Here is what I did: 4* USE $65+$5...rejected 4* USE/SOMA-Moscone Center $70+$5...rejected 4* USE/SOMA-Moscone Center/Financial District-Embarcadero $73+$5...add $15 4* USE/SOMA-Moscone Center/Financial District-Embarcadero/South San Francisco $76+$5...add $15 4* USE/SOMA-Moscone Center/Financial District-Embarcadero/SFO North-San Bruno $78+$5...accepted Rate on Hyatt.com is $189/night
  3. I was the one who posted the Fairfield Inn back in March. The going rate was only $69/night on Marriott's website.
  4. New hotel to add to the list. Also, South Bend has been divided into two zones.
  5. I appreciate your suggestions! I might have to swing by the Original Pancake House for breakfast. I'll also have to visit the Charnley-Persky House. I would have definitely overlooked it without your advice.
  6. Thanks again! I've been "exploring" the area with Google Maps Street View and it does look nice. Since you seem to know the area fairly well, how long of a walk do you think it would be to the Lincoln Park Zoo from the hotel? Also, I'll be coming in on Amtrak at Union Station. What would you suggest the best way is to get to the hotel with a couple of bags on public transportation? I was thinking about walking east (.6 mile) on either Adams St. or Jackson Blvd. until I hit the Jackson Red Line Station and take it to Clark/Division.
  7. Thanks for the tip about Edwardo's! I failed to mention that I had a $10/night coupon in my account that I used, so I actually only paid $43/night. I agree that this is an excellent deal.
  8. Bidding history: 3* NMA $40-Rejected 3* NMA+Lincoln Park $45-Rejected 3* NMA+Hyde Park $50-Rejected 3* NMA+Franklin Park $53-Accepted Rate on hotel's website is $169/night. Just to note, I tried to get a room with two beds, but it costs an extra $20 a night. I did manage to get a King bed for no extra charge though. Overall, I'm very happy with the hotel.
  9. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $33.00 Subtotal: $33.00 Taxes & Fees: $10.12 Total Charges*: $43.12 Very happy with my win!
  10. Excellent price! Just one thing, normally prices are listed without taxes in the title of the thread. Maybe one of the moderators can change this.
  11. Got this on the 3rd try for the night of 12/23/09. $38...add $11 $40...add $12 $42...accepted Renaissance Clubsport Aliso Viejo 3* Your Offer Price:$42 Number of Rooms:1 Number of Nights:1 Subtotal:$42.00 Taxes and Fees:$12.66 Total Charges*:$54.66 Parking is $10
  12. I've been bidding each day for the past few weeks for a 3* hotel at $48 in the Laguna Hills/Mission Viejo area. Finally got a bite today. I actually paid $38/night with a $10 coupon/night that I had. This hotel just recently opened within the past few months and it is a new one that needs to be added to list. Holiday Inn Irvine South/Irvine Spectrum Your Offer Price:$38 + $10 coupon Number of Rooms:1 Number of Nights:7 Subtotal:$266.00 Taxes and Fees:$53.97 Total Charges*:$319.97 I thought I'd probably end up with the Ayres Hotel based off of recent wins from others, but this Holiday Inn should be just fine. Thanks!
  13. I'm very happy with my results as the Embassy Suites is what I wanted. I saw a few posts down that someone got this Embassy Suites with the exact same amenities so I decided to bite. Without this website I wouldn't have risked booking it. Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport - Burlingame 150 Anza Blvd, Burlingame, CA, 94010 (650) 342-4600 Check in: Friday July 24 Check out: Saturday July 25 $69 before tax $85.08 w/ tax Amenities: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access 18 holes golf course nearby
  14. My dates are to check-in on Dec. 22 and checkout on Dec. 27. It's a 3* in the Irvine Spectrum - Laguna Hills Area for $75. Amenities include: fitness center, pool, restaurant, laundry, and High Speed Internet. The retail rate is $193.60 which exactly matches the Ayres Suites in Laguna Woods on Expedia.com, but as I have read on here, retail rates should not be relied on.
  15. Got the 3* Doubletree by the Ontario Airport for $45 on March 29-31.
  16. Tried $40 today and rejected but it said if I raised my bid $12 I could redo my request. I think I'll try $45 tomorrow.
  17. Yes, it does replace my SF trip. I'd say my max would be around $55-$60. I'm debating on whether to just make a reservation on Expedia at the Country Side Suites by Ayres or continue trying priceline.
  18. I was just rejected for $35 for a 2.5* in Ontario on 3/29 through 3/31. What should my next bid be?
  19. Would this $99 2.5* at Fisherman's Wharf be the Holiday Inn Express? It says it has complimentary breakfast, business center, and fitness center. It says customer favorite and 4 out of 5 for tripadvisor.
