Hi Thereuare, I keep getting the same message - i only bidded once like you suggested at $140 for 4* at MTE I don't know why i keep getting these messages as looking at other posts no one is reporting them Is it something to do with my address? I put in my real address and in town put London. I then choose California from the drop down menu and use 99999 as my post code

Hi Thereuare, Kept getting this message after i bidded so thought my bid hadn't gone through, about 20 minutes later though i got an email saying my bid had been unsuccesful. I logged back into priceline and my profile had my bid logged with the 'x' for unsuccessful. I then proceeded with the strategy you gave but kept getting the 'error message' when submitting the bid. However everytime i checked my profile it was stating that the bid had gone through. I went through the whole strategy upto $200 and was unsuccessful

I keep getting this server error issue even now? I am trying a day later

Just tried bidding but keep getting this message - i'm guessing they have issues with their website currently

Hi, Making my 4th visit to NY at the end of August and am looking for a hotel in Times Square or Mid Town East from the 29th August for 2 nights I would only like to stay in a 4* and above and its for 2 people Would appreciate any help on bidding i can get Sunny

Tried one last round of bidding as saw people get the Hilton around my dates on the board for a lower price then i have been bidding - was going to book the above hotel if i got nothing - however got the Hilton Times Square for $140 per night so very happy! Yep that was the max before taxes etc - we dont mind going a bit over if neccessary

Went upto $185 in MTW and still no luck! Thinking of adding MTE maybe now as the price is going up and up!

Went up in $10 per bid - bid up to $165 a night but no luck. Will bid again tomorrow but in $5 as i got a hotel for part of my trip for $170 per night

Went upto $130 - no luck will try again in 24 hours!

Yeah have seen these deals at the Intercontinental! Good prices! I think however we are going to stick to MTW only for this trip

Got the Sheraton for part of my stay (first 3 days) but now need a hotel for the last 2 days - again would like a 4* in MTW only. Any advice?

Went through SavingsBarn.com and got Sheraton New York Hotel And Towers for $170. Couldnt get all the days though i got 23rd - 26th April. Tried adding days but they were not available. Have 72 hours lock out now before my next attempt. How shall i go about bidding for 26th - 28th? Thanks for the help on above - much appreciated

Thereuare, Im still waiting for my card to arive, i was searching hotel prices and found Novotel for $995 for my 5 nights stay without taxes - is this a good deal or do you think i can do better with Priceline? Thanks Sunny

thereuare, my card was chewed up by a dodgy machine in London :) im waiting for a replacement card to be sent out so cant bid till it comes!! Will let you know how i got on when it arrives!
