  1. Used the PRICELINE link. The Savery is a hotel I've stayed at many times and $65/nt makes this an excellent value for the price paid. Started at $60 and got counter for $13 more per night. Declined and added a zone without a 3.5 star at $65. Hope someone else can use this. It's a older but very classy, well kept facility.
  2. Sorry for the omission. It's for May 10, 2011 for one night. Older facility, but classy.
  3. I have purchased this hotel many times; this time I started @ $60 and added zones and increased the price by $5 with each additional zone. I've bought it on weekends as low as $49, but this is a weekday. No complaints. Used the BB link.
  4. Started at $64 and got the screen for upping the bid to $79. Passed and went to $70 and won the room. Been here many times over the years, and the Savory is a classic hotel. Of course, used the PRICELINE link :) TBF
  5. Needed a good place to stay in jolly old London. I love the town, but if you're not careful, you'll end up in a 4 star that was originally built sometime in the 1800s, and has rooms the size of closets. This is a good facility. We needed two rooms, we're putting the 26 year old and 13 year old in the other room. Started @ $135/night and immediately got countered for $169. Tried $145 using a free rebid, before finally just pulling the trigger. Others have gotten this facility at the same price on PRICELINE. Evidently the remodeling is over :) Michael
  6. You may be able to buy this for $45, I mistyped the bid price. I've stayed here a number of times. Terrific value for the dollar. :)
  7. Best website rate is $99, so I went 50% off and added a buck or two. A good deal. I screwed up and didn't use the proper link. June 30 thru July 2. Hope this helps someone.
  8. Started @ $50 and use two free rebids to get this outstanding facility @ $65/night. Used savingsbarn but screwed it up. Bidders will just have to benefit from the information. I'll eventually get the link right. Sofitel is one of my favorites. It's not Paris, but it will do in a pinch. Someone warn Southdale, my wife will be armed and dangerous with her credit card. :)
  9. Second time is a charm..via savingsbarn.com Tried $37 and got the famous Priceline "for only $10 more" counteroffer. Added Fridley for the rebid and bid $42 and was successful. I believe I stayed there once a while back, as I recall it was fine. For $42 + taxes/fees it beats sleeping in the car in -10 weather. :) Michael
  10. Need a room so I don't have to leave my house @ 3AM to make a 7am departure. I'm not too big on Holiday Inns in the US, but hey... for the 8 hours I'll probably be there... :) Michael
