  1. Do you need this room for three nights or two. I am thinking 3. I found Sahara for 249.76 at tripreservations.com Sahara is decent and just a tram ride away from all the action. The Stratosphere can be had at Hotels.com for 227.81 which is awesome, but is so far from the action it is almost off strip. If you are looking for something center strip, Barbary Coast and Imperial Palace are both decent and can be had for around 100 a night. Barbary coast at 286.67 for the three nights from travelworm.com and Imperial Palace which would be my choice for 289.94 from www.lvtb.com. The Barbary coast is nice but has no pool some people don't use pools anyway. Hope this helps
  2. my friend is in about the exact same situtation. The weekend is what he is looking for also. He has talked about the Barbary coast and the Sahara as options or the Stardust. If this is your first time you will definately want ot be on strip or close but for my friend I reccomended Fremont St. Priceline could work as long as you realize the four star for a weekend at that time is going to be in the 200 or so a night range but if you want diffrent than the alladin that would probably work.
  3. yeah so no check ins on may 27th would have to be the 28th or 26th.
  4. alladin is 843 for the week through travelzoo.com or he could book bally's direct for 767. what do you think would be a better value i have never been to the alladin except to shop and i know it is becoming planet hollywood. and are there any better deals. excalibur is still there for 82 a night but seems like alladin is probably a better value. let me know your guys thoughts
  5. he now is looking to change the dates to come out on the 28th and check out the 4th. what do you guys think for this time frame. i saw aladdin at travelzoo for a good deal.
  6. I have a friend coming out to meet me at Las Vegas I have already booked at Ballys but the good deal I got is gone. He is looking for the best deal under 900 dollars on the strip. He wants to be close to us at Bally's but a great deal woud be worth them staying further away. I know if he does priceline that he should split his bid. DOoes anyone know of any good deals during this time frame as my deal for the Ballys is long gone. Thanks
  7. if that is in the north strip it is probably the paris. I looked at the same thing on hotwire. I am staying out from the 27th to the 3rd. I ended up booking at Bally's hough got a really good deal. there are really good deals at bally's and the flamingo.
  8. Got the confimation for all three of my rooms. 549.50 for the week plus tax. Looks to be right under 600 dollars for the week at Ballys. From May 27th Through June 3rd. I am extremely happy with this price. Again I booked stright through Bally's then filled out the form and faxed it to them showing the lower price at priceline of 733 before tax and they matched it and beat it by 25%. AWESOME deal.
  9. We are still working on it. I filled out the form for the price gaurantee. the price i found was 104 a night plus taxes so since that is a better rate than ballys they are supposed to match the lower price and give an extra 25% off that would take the room to 78 a night plus taxs. for a full week this seems to be a great deal. once I get the exact rate back within the next 48-72 hours I will post it.
  10. We ended up booking directly through Bally's using their price gaurantee. Since i found a price of 733 from priceline viewable pricing for the week they are going to match the price and beat it by 25%. So we are going to get a really good deal once I get confirmation that it is being matched i will post the exact details here. Thanks you for your help.
  11. I am glad to hear it is ballys as i was wondering the same. The nights i will be bidding are going to be more but awesome to have it identified.
  12. processed as advised but no luck. It looks like hotwire may be the way for me to go. looks like i can get what seems to be ballys for 89 a night or what looks to be mgm for 109. I may try one additional time before I go to hotwire. Thanks for your help.
  13. It is possible.. I would rahter stay at the same place but splitting would be an option.
  14. :) Looking for some help. I am trying to get the best possible deal on a 3.5 to 4 star on the strip. I have found bally's for 100 a night after taxes on hotwire. Do you think I can find a better deal? Will prices get cheaper closer to the dates? Help!!!
