Just a little furhter FYI.. shared the bid with other PSU alum heading to the Orange Bowl next week and it looks like someone scored a $102 rate at the Eden Roc on the same date.
Thought this would be too low even for the last minute, but first attempt scored the Renaissance Eden Roc for $125 - their website today has a price of $399 as does Expedia. Not a bad deal.
