  2. Hi, Stopping by to close the thread. I ended up not booking through priceline because I was afraid to get an old hotel. Thank you all for the help
  3. Hi guys, Looking for a hotel for 3 Date: 7/3 to 7/9 Rate: $122 per night Ammenities: Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business center, Wheelchair accessible I used the betterbidding hotwire search tool.....My guess it would be Hotel Vetiver... Any help would be great Thx
  4. Did you really want to get the Le Meridien Etoile? Google for "Le Meridien Etoile" + "hotwire"/"priceline", and read about hw/pl guests getting old/ugly rooms. I haven't read those kinds of comments of Concorde La Fayette. I think you got a nice one for Paris.
  5. Hi, thanks for the response. Could you help me with the questions of my first post?
  6. Hi, Besides my initial questions, I'm thinking about to bid for only one night (04/27 to 04/28) in order to see which hotel I will get... is there any good chances of extending the reservation for more days? thanks!
  7. Hi, I'm trying to get a good deal for paris from 04/27/13 to 05/02/13 for the specific areas: Eiffel Tower(preferred) or Champs Elysées and for a 4* rated hotel. My budget is around $100. I've done a search on hotwire, and got the specific result: 4* North of Champs Elysées - Arc de Triomphe Ammenities: Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Spa Services Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Reading the forum hotwire hotel list, I believe this is Le Méridien Etoile. I intend to make my bids in priceline in order to get a better deal (and I have a link for a $10 cupom as well :)), but I'm afraid to try to get this hotel, because I've read a lot of comments about hotwire/priceline guest getting old rooms (not only HW/PL guest, even SPG gold members!!) that are terrible (there is a possibility to ask/beg for a room upgrade, but...you don't know if you will get one....) Maybe I should wait more for getting better deals? Thanks Lincoln
  8. Hi guys, sorry for the late response, giving a follow-up: I got a really nice deal for London thru PRICELINE: $85,00 for Marriott London Kensington from 02/05/13 to 06/05/13. Thank you all for the help
  9. Just giving a follow-up: I've given up of getting a good deal for Rome because it would be hard to find out which hotel i would get(HOTWIRE or PRICELINE). i've decided to book a small hotel near termini station. thanks for the help!!
  10. Yes, It does :). Searching I've found this betterbidding Hotwire London Hotel forum thread. Which ended up to be DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - West End, it is your same guess? :) If yes, what do you think about the price? It seems to be very reasonable, but it has got a tax of $95.82 to be included as well :/ Thanks
  11. Hi, I've found the following hotel on hotwire, and would like some help to identify it: 4* Trastevere - La Pisana area hotel Ammenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service), High-Speed Internet Access
  12. Hi, follow the actual dates: 05/02/13 to 05/06/13. I've found other two deals as well: 4* Bloomsbury - St. Pancras Station - British Museum area hotel Ammenities: Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service), Accessible path of travel, Accessible bathroom , Roll-in shower 4* City of London - Towerbridge - St. Pauls Catherdral area hotel Ammenities: Laundry Facilities (self-service), High-Speed Internet Access, Wheelchair accessible
  13. Hi, I've checked my messages and clicked in the links, and of course I will use the betterbidding links to book/bid/rebid :) My maximum budget for hotels would be US$ 100,00. I'm looking for hotels with good locations in the city, in order to avoid taking taxis/too much metros to get to the touristic places. Do you think I can get better deals by using PRICELINE instead of HOTWIRE? I'm looking for hotels in France and England as well, for the last week of april/first week of may, any kind of help would be great. Thanks for the help
