We stayed there last November (got it on HOTWIRE, too- around same price) and loved the hotel! Location is great and the hotel is modern and clean.

I had tried bidding on Priceline but was always rejected (went up to $140) so when I saw that it was $152 on hotwire I went for it. Thought it was the Hyatt because of a previous poster's win a few weeks ago - had the exact same icons that he listed for the Hyatt. But I am Very happy with Intercontinental!! I used the PRICELINE link here then started bidding $35 for Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney 3.5* Deluxe. Bid rejected - added Sand Lake Corp. and bid $40 - accepted at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista. I stayed here last year and paid $89 per night. The location is good for a night or two at Disney - close to the entrance to Downtown Disney area but right next to 1- 4 so request a room on the other side. The rooms are new and Clean - granite counters, flat screen TV, sleep number beds, fridge, sofa. No other fees foor parking, etc. Very happy with this hotel for $40!!

Started bid at $65 for 4 star then added free re-bid zone (NE suburbs has no 4 stars) and increased to $75 - both were rejected so added another re-bid zone (Springfield, no 4 stars , either) and bid $85. Accepted at Hotel Palomar!! Great rate - I am very happy. Went thru the PRICELINE link on this board - thanks for all the bidding help!

I started bidding for a Beverly Hills 4 * on 9/23 at $95 , $100 with free re-bid (Culver City) and $110 (Lawndale) - all were rejected. Tried 7 more times after that with bids ranging from $100 - $140 (didn't automatically go up everyday just in case) using my 2 free re-bids (Both Culver and Lawndale do not have anything close to a 4 *) Last night went up to $147 and was accepted by the Mondrian! I am excited since the Sky Bar is there and it is in a great location. Also, FYI: called the hotel after and all the renovations have been completed (there were some negative reviews on different sites about the construction) so all rooms have been re-done this year. The lowest priced rrom on their site is $465!!! Now I can cancel by $264/night res. at the Beverly Hilton! Thanks for this great site!

Started bid at $65 for Newport/Huntington 4 * - rejected added Anaheim Hills for free re-bid and $70 - rejected added Seal Beach/N. Huntingon and offered $75 and accepted for Nov. 10-12 Parking is expensive at the Hyatt so the low price makes it not so bad....now working on Beverly Hills hotel.

Bid on a 3.5 star - Marietta (Vinings) area and got the Sheraton Suites Atlanta Galleria which I am extremely happy with for $50/night!! - thanksgiving weekend. Hotel amenities losted: Suite, Pool, Business center, Fitness Center, Restaurant, laundry facilities.

The cheapest rate on the sheraton website is $350/night. Amenities listed are: resort, beachfront, restaurant, pool,fitness, spa, internet,children's activity,golfnearby, tennis nearby, bus. center, laundry (coin operated) Taxes and fees came to $248.84 I hope this info is helpful - this is my first time using Hotwire and this sight which was very helpful to me!
