Started with the PRICELINE link! After playing with bids for my entire vacation I decided I would finish it the same way. The Rochester Airport is a little outside of the city, but we are going to a concert and just wanted a nice cheap place to crash. The Raddison is a nice place and will be perfect, and for $42 it doesn't get much better. My strategy was to bid a good deal less than the lowest express price for a 3* and slowly include every zone. For what we wanted location in Rochester is all that mattered. Stayed away from zones 1,5,6,9 and 10 to try and keep relatively close to the concert. Thanks for the help!

Started with your PRICELINE link! I had the hardest time with this, originally I was trying to book for the 18th and 19th. I tried for two days using many strategies and nothing would even come close. I decided to book separately and was able to book this on the 19th. It is still a bit pricey compared to normal rates but it is graduation weekend and the Lilac festival is going on so I was excited to find something. Turns out Rochester is basically overbooked on the 18th, so I ended up getting a camp site and will be using a tent for my first night of vacation!!! Overall, this seems like a pretty fair price for the event filled weekend in Rochester. Thanks!

Again, using the PRICELINE link at the bottom booked a 2 night stay to go along with the other one I got for the same price earlier in the week. I am mix and matching hotels in Niagara and Rochester for a vacation and PRICELINE and Betterbidding are helping me along the way! Used the same strategy as before, currently 4*s are only in the Niagara Falls section, you get 5 shots at a time bidding on a 4* by adding sections.

Tried for 38,39, 40, and 41 the night before. I got it at 42 today and am heading out tomorrow. This last minute stuff really wasn't an issue and all rooms are ocean view which is a great perk!!!
