Did alot of research and it's an expensive weekend! Comfort Inn and Suites by the Biltmore Mall via Priceline for $82. $195 total for 2 nights. GREAT WIN!

We are traveling there same time as we always do - opening round of 64 tourney so rooms always high. We stayed @ Trump last year and loved it...didn't care about not on strip - had FREE shuttles running @ all times to Caesars or Wynn. Book cheap and when you show up, they ask you if you want to upgrade for dirt cheap...best route for that weekend. Staying first 2 nights @ Trump and last 2 (Sun & Mon night) @ Hard Rock (have suites on those nights right now for only $75/night directly through their website). All in all...we LOVE THE TRUMP - best deal for the $ and location.

Went to $121 and DECLINED. Just going to keep after it. Sometimes it's a stubborn system!

I love this forum as Ive used hotwire & priceline for 15+ yrs for every biz or personal booking (outside Caribbean as wife doesn't like not knowing)...wish they offered rewards as much as I spend....but it's unreal the $ I've saved as well...hence the REAL rewards Keep everyone posted!

It shows mainly Mirage and TI for 4* and mainly Venetian, Palazzo or Wynn for 5* I'm looking to book the weekend of March 22-25. It's always a high time with opening round of NCAA and think it's around college spring break as well. Anyone have any ideas of what will work for rates? I'm REALLY trying to get the 5* and still have plenty of time - I've tried a few rates of $94, $98 and just now $118 - all rejected. Hotwire is showing Venetian/Palazzo for about $160...usually do my research there and go down a bit per night on my bids. Been noticing others "around" that same time are booking from $120-$135 (still even better than Hotwire). @$118 it didn't even counter - think I should just add $5 @ a time? Thoughts? 4* is an option, but last resort. Thanks in advance for anyone's help and reply.

Thanks, but I ended up going with Priceline for $64 for 4* @ Galleria in ATL for Tues 10/30: Got the Renaissance @ Galleria. Great deal and amazing place!

I WENT AHEAD AND PULLED THE TRIGGER AS IT LOOKED LIKE IT'S WASN'T GETTING BETTER 4* ---- $215 FOR OMNI SAN FRAN. LOOKS TO BE A GREAT HOTEL. I dont think I was going to do any better - either way, saved $100+ from booking direct and another $50 from Hotwire BEST price, so still feel like I won!

The prices for these areas via Expedia (mainly where I do research along with Hotwire) are showing $250 minimums. Do you think rooms will open up the week leading into on Priceline or should I pull the trigger on something? Thoughts on this? Thanks!

My wife and I are traveling to SF for her b-day from Charlotte, NC and wanted to try and get some help with Priceline. I'm a veteran myself having used Priceline for over 15+ years, but I'm having issues with these dates and wanted to see if you could provide insight. We are wanting to stay Sat (10/6) - Mon (10/8) in downtown SF. Not particular area except maybe Union E/W, Financial, ect...that main area that's easy for us to get around. Been rejected up to $150/night and NEVER had to pay that much. I noticed on the forum there was a Deloitte National Convention but that appears to be the next week - any suggestions.
