Just booked 3* Portland Airport (PDX Perimeter) Shilo Inn Suites Hotel Portland Airport for $68 per night for August 3-8 2013. Amenities: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Suite There is a dead giveaway in the amenities that you are booking the Shilo. I did a little research and discovered that this is the only 3* hotel in the PDX Perimeter zone that is Pet Friendly. Reviews online are very good for this hotel. They say it has a good hot free breakfast. From the hotel's website pictures it has a massive indoor pool. My kids are going to love it! Attention Mods: Please update the hotel list to include "Pet Friendly, Free Internet, and Free Parking" under Shilo's amenities.
I just booked a night there for $30 in October. It's the Circus Circus. Unfortunately, purchasing doesn't reveal if you are getting a manor or tower room. It just says Circus Circus. My gut says it's going to be one of the manor rooms out back which are not far from classy but I'm not complaining for $30 per night. Remember there's a $9 resort fee that you will have to pay at check in.
Our first time to use HOTWIRE. We had a fantastic time at the Phoenix Inn in Vancouver. Price was $62... which worked out to be about $75 after tax. Beautiful room, great breakfast for free, fantastic staff, good location, for access to the 205 and Portland Airport area.
