Thanks... That link does not have any 2* hotels in the Portland Downtown region, and that's why I'm asking if anybody has any experience with 2* hotels shown on Hotwire deals.

I see that HOTWIRE has a $109+tax offer for Portland, OR Downtown region (w/o Convention center) from 8/12 to 8/16. I wanted to see which 2* hotels are within HOTWIRE, but none were available for that time period. How is that possible? I asked customer service, but they did not give me a satisfying answer (as expected). I couldn't find any information on betterbidding either about 2* Portland downtown hotels on HOTWIRE. Can anyone help? Thanks...
