This is your basic Holiday Inn Express experience. Clean, decent, and good value. Rooms come with a double bed and double pull-out sofa. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is wireless internet for a fee, and a computer with pay internet connection in the lobby. My wife and kids ate at the restaurant and were not impressed. Breakfast is included in the Hotwire rate and was a decent continental offering, including croissants, pastries, bread, cheese, canned fruit slices, whole fresh fruit, cold cereal, hot drinks and juices. The downside is the location. It is an industrial area with nothing of interest. The North Acton tube is adjacent to the hotel and you can be in central London in 20 minutes, or Notting Hill in less than 10 with the same line. I read in TripAdvisor about 'unsavory types' in the neighborhood, but we never felt unsafe. Across the street is a Tesco Express, a Lebanese cafe, and a pub.
