I just booked a Hotwire room for $135 for the Chelsea / Madison Square Garden area, 2.5*, free high-speed Internet access and free breakfast. It turned out to be the Best Western Convention Center Hotel. Listed rates at present for that night are $169 plus 14.75 percent tax. So I guess I saved about $39. The only 2.5* that this board had listed in this zone was Candlewood Suites, and I was hoping for that one. This board's Hotwire hotel guide has Best Western as a 2*, but apparently Hotwire has upgraded it to 2.5, so you should change that.
