Bidding dollar by dollar for 3* for Lake Oswego, Vancouver, Portland downtown, Beaverton, North Vancouver, Northwest Portland, South Waterfront District to $54. Added Hillsboro at $55 and won this bid, so don't know if $55 is really the lowest bid.
Bidding up dollar by dollar through adding zones (Lloyd Center/Downtown/Portland NorthWest/Waterfront/Hillsboro). Beaverton is the last zone added where I won.
Hi there. Forgot to post this a few weeks ago. Trying for dollar by dollar at first with various regions for a 3* hotel. In the end, it was getting close to the departure date, so have to go up $3 at a time for bidding. Got it at $59, so the cheapest could have been $57. Usually, we don't need to pay that much, but the hotel rooms were priced higher than usual that particular weekend for some reasons. We stayed at Springhill before - it is still new and nice with pool and hot tub etc. We were not disappointed being there even we needed to pay a little more.
Attempted bid for $80 for 4*, $85 for 3.5* and more, and then finally won at $90 for 3* and more. I guess it is in the midst of Cherry Blossom festival, so could not get better prices. At least this includes wifi.
Bidding up from $40 in areas closer to Central Portland. Added 'Lake Oswego' for $44 bid and won. Since 'Lake Oswego' was added as the last area, so I could not tell whether it was the lowest price, but low-enough price and very happy with Residence Inn which includes simple breakfast. For the last 2 years, I have been getting other 3* properties without breakfast in Lake Oswego when bidding, so this is a nice surprise.
Using BB PRICELINE link to bid dollar by dollar by adding each neighbouring zone. Search was for 2.5* or more, and ended with the 3* property. Even without breakfast, it is still a good deal for a Sunday night for the Labour Day weekend.
Using the Bidding Map to find the lowest price for downtown, I started the bid of $42. Bid got accepted first time. Pleased with the price - hope it is nice. The Priceline Maps is very useful - great tool! Of course, used the site's link.
Sorry for the confusing info. Yes, 1-night stay for 2 rooms. In the end, I decided to purchase the option for 4* Space Needle using BB HOTWIRE link. As expected, I got Edgewater hotel for $99. Amenities are: Amenities See description Boutique Hotel Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access
Oops - sorry. I am planning an one-night stay in Seattle downtown Apr 29-30 for two nights. I prefer Space Needle area, and based on what I read, the 4* is likely to be Edgewater or Pan Pacific - both will be good, but at $98 a night. This pike place option is $84, but it seems to have different amenities, so not sure if it is a safe choice to go for.
Hi there. This hotel has free internet, so I don't know which hotel can this be: Amenities: Free Internet, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access
