  1. I am unfamiliar with the Cincinnati area and need bidding help. We would like a 3 * hotel as close to the Paul Brown stadium as possible. However, I will look at other close areas because we will have a rental car. I would like to start bidding at $125 if possible. Thanks, CC
  2. Checked last week and was not having any luck finding 3-4 star hotels for this date under $100. This week I noticed that PRICELINE express deal and HOTWIRE had a 3 star hotel for $53 and $58 respectively. So my attempt was truly to So I tried this: 4 star.....loop/mill...$45 4 star.....michigan/river north...$50 3 1/2......$45 loop 3 1/2......$47 michigan 3 star..... $45 (never came back with response/was hung up in check your status zone) 3 star..... $47 WINNER Used PRICELINE for bid and rebid. I'm good!
  3. Wanted Hilton Minneapolis and got it! Bid MSP-Airport Mall of America=$40 Rebid Apple Valley=$43 Rebid New Brighton=$45 Bagged it. Used PRICELINE link to start my purchase.
  4. The lowest deal for a 3 1/2 star on HOTWIRE was $75. The last times I priced on PRICELINEI did not get accepted using all rebid zones that I could, while looking for a 3 or 3 1/2 star. I upped the ante and bid $55. Immediately accepted. LOVE this deal! The lowest rate for the Marriott right now is $209. Thank you Better Bidding and I used the PRICELINE link!
  5. 5/30/12-1 night 3.5-star Hotel in Midway Airport MDW - Oak Lawn - Alsip This Hotel features the following amenities: Indoor pool(s) Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Free Parking
  6. Used PRICELINE link..... Tried Universal Orlando Resort area 4* bid and rebid zones (1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14) from $46-$67 I was getting used to rejection. Then used PRICELINE link again.... Tried SeaWorld-Convention Center-Intl Drive 4* starting bid $40 (rebid 6 zones) and finally at $64, The Renaissance Orlando wanted me.
  7. No luck yet! I will try again next week. Thanks for your help.
  8. The hotel was fabulous! Perfect location for the purpose of the visit. Excellent service. I was able to upgrade to the 2 bed/2 bath Executive Club Level for $55. The Excutive Club included private elevator access, nonalcoholic drinks, snacks, cakes, cookies, appetizers, complimentary breakfast, concierge services, computers on the floor, and a bartender for the floor. My only regret is that I couldn't extend a day through priceline. When I tried, it locked me out from making any other priceline bids.
  9. If it makes you feel a little bit better, I stayed on the 20th for $85 and could not get it on the 21st for $110 dollars. So your range was perfect. You just made a great first bid!
  10. My main goal is the least expensive 3*-4*, both the French Quarter and Downtown are fine with me. Thank you so much for your assistance.
  11. My preference is to keep it under $100. I would like a 3* or 4* hotel. I can be flexible with price, since it is also a pre-cruise night and a weekend. It will be my first time! I'm excited. I wish I had more time off of work right before to explore NOLA more.
  12. R0mey, It's looks like you understand according to another thread. I also took out the Strip North, when I selected 4 stars, be(I did not want those four star hotels on the North side)by closing the website and going back through the PRICELINE link on this website.
  13. Used the PRICELINE link... Just a note: Priceline is using Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South instead of Strip South now. I saw a 4 star out there on Hotwire so I decided I would not bid over $65 because Hotwire has a four star for $66 dollars a night (with a resort fee) My journey to get to that rate $60-5*-Strip North-(wishful thinking) REJECTED! $50-4*-Strip South-removed North (wanted the south hotels in 4* range instead of north selections)REJECTED! $52-4*-rebid-added Boulder-REJECTED! $54-4*-rebid-added Henderson-REJECTED! $56-4*-rebid-added Nellis-REJECTED! $58-4*-rebid-added Northwest Las Vegas-WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER! Received the MGM Grand for $58 ($271 before resort fees of $25 per day, ouch!!!) The website has MGM room at ($353 before fees). Deal is great for MGM, think I probably could have bid less if I added Strip West and possibly receiving the Rio with no fees, but paying for the Strip, MGM is also a great monorail connection, huge casino so I am definitely good with this bid. (especially the weekend savings)
  14. MGM Grand is now $25. Per their website: Q. What is the resort fee? A. A daily resort fee of $25 (subject to applicable tax) will be applied to all reservations arriving on or after February 13, 2012. The resort fee includes: Complimentary high speed internet daily USA Today newspaper local and toll free numbered calls limited Business Center Services such as outgoing faxes, copies, notary, and boarding pass printing Free access to the Cardio Room located on the 4th floor, in the 300 wing. Open daily from 6am
  15. I do not know anything about NOLA. I have a cruise scheduled 9/23/2012 and would like to come in early at 9/22/2012. I will not have a car. From my research, it seems that a cool spot would be the French Quarter so I can have some activities to do and I will just take a cab to the cruise port. In bidding, obviously I would choose the French Quarter but are there any other areas I should be open to?
  16. Used the PRICELINE link and went through a series of bids and rebids from $50+ because a few years ago I caught the Hyatt Regency for around that rate. I tried from $50-$72, no takers. I put in four stars. and bid Michigan Ave ($75) then Millenium Park ($79) then Franklin Park ($82) then Hyde Park for $85 and received Palmer House Hilton. Seems like a great deal. I love the location. The views are mixed. I am hoping that I can request the fabulous 2 bedroom/2 bathroom room. Thank you Betterbidding.com.
