  1. Nice new hotel, large rooms, better than average continental breakfast, close proximity to the capital. I should have started lower but was in a rush and went for $125 right off the bat! It was a great savings though from the $200 they wanted on the Hyatt website.
  2. This hotel was kind of weird but we didn't spend much time there. It was reasonably close to the beach and felt like it was in a safe area. If I spent time in Oahu again I would probably try to get something in a less lively area.
  3. Looking to book a resort in the Wailea area, specifically the Wailea Marriot from 2/2/2013 to 2/6/2013. We stayed there last year and attempted to book through priceline but ultimately ended up paying their asking price of $250 + $30 resort fee. I noticed that during our dates in 2013 the price went up even more to $350, this is ridiculous. It's a nice hotel but not worth $380/night!! I googl'ed to see if there was some sort of event in Hawaii at that time but didn't see anything. My first attempt at bidding unsuccessfully: $150 - Wailea - Makena area $160 - Kehei $170 - Kahului I'll keep everyone updated and will probably make a backup reservation after the first of the year if nothing pans out. Alex
  4. I have not been having a lot of luck bidding up to $180. I decided to book through the hotel itself for $250/night + $30 reservation fee. This will be my backup if I can't get the hotel through priceline for a better rate by 5/5.
  5. Trying to get a resort in Wailea for 5/9 to 5/13. This is my first day trying and here are my attempts. Wailea - Makena - $150 Kihei, Wailea - Makena - $160 Kahului, Kihei, Wailea - Makena - $170 I'm really hoping for Marriott Wailea Resort at $180/night MAX. Tips?
