We had a similar experience bidding up to $95 for 12/8, 2 nts. We'd prefer to stay in USE or Fisherman's Wharf, 4* with max of $95. Can you please suggest a strategy? Thanks!

No it was my 10th bid. I started at $70 then my bidding went: $78, $85, $90, $95, $105, $115, $125, $140, $150. I knew I had plenty of rebid zones, so I started lower than I would've otherwise (I figured it couldn't hurt).

As of the time/date I bid this hotel was not listed among the San Diego 4* properties.

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to try again because I've used up all my rebid options.

BTW, the date I'd be requesting is 8/20/05 for one night only.

I'm about to place a bid on Priceline, but noticed that I'm given a 4* option for San Jose (only San Jose is selected, not any surrounding areas). There is no 4* property on the Hotel List for this area. Any help identifying the property would be greatly appreciated!
