First time to LA so may just hang around the core area. I'm travelling with my elderly mum (so 2 of us). Hoping to see some of the attractions including Universal Studios, driving to some neighborhood (hollywood, etc), and some shopping. Not too rushed for my mum's sake. Thanks !

I'm not entirely new to this forum but my first post ! Last minute flight deal. Never been to LA. Travelling with elderly family member. Looking to spend about $100 tops. Hoping to include free breakfast, parking, internet. Any suggestions. I know no guarantees but any suggestion is most welcome as this is really last minute ! Thank you !! (SORRY meant Apr 2012)
