  1. Bid $75 in Embarcadero zone, offered free rebid if I increased by $14. Added free rebid zone and bid $80 and got it.
  2. After doing lots of research, I'm fairly sure that this is the Holiday Inn on the Southside. If anyone has a different thought, please let me know. After reading some reviews about the property, I'm not comfortable with taking that chance on Hotwire.
  3. Actually I did it by phone, since I had some questions about the friends and family rate I was using. But I now have it bookmarked for future use.
  4. Good Question. We ended up moving our stay in Orlando to the previous week Oct 31 - Nov 4. Since we have friends in JAX and are flying out from there we are going to say there for two days before we leave. Hope that helps!
  5. Looking for hotel from Nov 8-10 in Jacksonville. Have been bidding for 3* downtown on priceline but then noticed this 3* on hotwire for $38. Amenities are Pool, Fitness, Kitchenette, Laundry. I'm a little nervous that it might be Amerisuites (which I've read horrible reviews about). Any thoughts?
  6. We are looking at sometime between Oct 31 through Nov 9. We haven't planned the final details of the trip, but we have purchased our plane tickets.
  7. Preparing for our trip to Florida, we are planning a few nights in Palm Coast. I have been considering to bid for a Resort near St. Augustine (Renaissance) but also noticed a resort option for Palm Coast. I've looked through the hotel lists on this site and TOBB :) but can't find anything. There can't be many options since Palm Coast is small. Thanks,
  8. Thanks for the help. I decided to take the guess work out of it and reserve the Residence Inn near Seaworld. Price was a little higher but read great reviews at tripadvisor.
  9. Yes, we have an young child and it makes things so much easier having the extra space, living area, and the flexibility to prepare meals in the room.
  10. Hotwire lists a 3.5* in Universal/Seaworld for $53/night Amenities:Condo, Suite, Pool, Spa, Gym, Parking, 24hr front desk, Children's Activities, Laundry I noticed a few weeks back someone else was asking the same questions. Any ideas of what it might be? I was thinking it might be the Residence Inn. Looking at booking for 3 nights, would definitely save money since we have a infant. Thanks,
