  1. I have the possibility to move the trip to the middle of May. Do you think that would make any different in the possibility of getting a good bargain?
  2. Thank you so much for the post above, that sure helps a lot. Just a quick question before I begin the bedding. How realistic is my budget of $80-90? have you heard of anybody getting that got a deal?
  3. Thank you for that answer. I would consider Long Island City or Downtown Brooklyn..
  4. Thank you very much! I've now read the thread, but I didn't really find an answer to my question. I know now that right after I've put in a bet I'll know whether or not it is accepted - if it ISN'T accepted/is unsuccesful, then they don't take any money from me at all?? And I can try to put in a bet again?? My exact dates: 3rd - 16th of June. My budget per night: $80-90 (I have no idea what is realistic.. is it realistic to bet $60 a night or would that just be a big laugh?) Areas: Chelsea, Financial, ESB, Hells, LES, ME, MW, QB, Soho, TS, UW (I wouldn't ind LIC either if that can be done even cheaper?) So I should bet a min. 3 star hotels?
  5. Hello, I'm coming to NYC (for the 3rd time) from June 5th - 16th - in all 11 days. I have never used Priceline before so I need a bit of help. I am coming alone. I am ready to split the bet - stay in two different hotels, since I get the feeling that would improve my chances?? Looking for min. 2 star accomodation. And how does it work. If I put in a bet in the beginning of March, how long before I know if I have got a deal or not??
